Melbourne Stars vs Brisbane Heat

Both teams are in a must win situation.
Both of them played Adelaide Strikers last time out, and the Heat were trashed. While the Stars lost to them as well, they were at least somewhat competitive and they showed enough to suggest that they can win this one.
Marcus Stoinis has yet to be the Stars’ top run-scorer once this season, so he is due for a good showing.
Glenn Maxwell has been a key member of the Stars’ lineup for quite a few seasons. He has played some decent knocks even this time around, but he hasn’t been able to show a lot of consistency. He is also due for a good game if the Stars wish to get themselves into the top four.

Adam Zampa has been a genuine wicket-taker for Australia and he has replicated similar performances even for the Stars. Although he hasn’t taken a whole lot of wickets this season, he can be expected to bowl a match-winning spell in this match.

The Heat welcome back several players, including Mark Steketee (leading wicket taker this season), for this match.
