Yikes! It got steamed real quick here 1.66 on 365 and 1.78 on Ladbrokes. It'll probably move to 6.5 assists

Cashed this in the 3rd qtr, sounds like a no sweat bet but in today's NBA like in the case of this one, it was a sweaty bet because this was a blowout early in the 1st qtr even though the full game spread was 3 points. Teams just sit the starters when it's a blowout, no urgency or intent to fight back. On Thursday 6/8 games were blowouts, makes it hard to cap these games going forward. Might have to look more into sides, total points or quarter by quarter bets.

1-2day, Westbrook gets to 9 R+A, goes out in the 3rd qtr and never comes back. Down 16 at the end of 3rd qtr Mavs did not return their starters and neither did the Nuggets. 16 points! This new age NBA is really annoying.

How does a NBA team score 67 points in a game? Add in hooks, players sitting even when only 16 pts down, coaches saying a player is ready to play only to then have a mins restriction...etc.

Think you either must be brave or stupid to still be betting on the NBA during this period of the season. All star break is in 3 weeks time, maybe a good idea to shut down NBA Betting till end of Feb.

Yep, today the National Blowout Association reared it's ugly head again. Between waiting on injury reports, blowouts and lack of flow it's increasingly getting harder to bet on games. I watched a couple of games and was just left wondering.
Worst part is since gambling in most States became legal you see major superstars sign up with betting companies. Make it make sense.

Game of the night was OKC vs Cavs, OKC favoured by 3 points, they even said it's a finals preview. Okay, let me watch. End of 1st qtr Cavs down 18 points, midway through 3rd qtr and Cavs are down 52 points, lol! They pull all their starters mid 3rd quarter with 5 mins left and they never see the court again.
Like Naidoo said, you gotta be brave or stupid to be betting the NBA right now. I'll be back betting it when I see some competitive spirit, maybe in the 2nd half of the season. Not in the mood to make donations to the books right now.

Charlotte Hornets TT under 99.5 @1.86

Besides Miles Bridges, Hornets whole team will remain out. This is an offense that scored 82 pts vs the Nets two nights ago now facing the #2 defense in the league. The Clippers have only been big road favs twice this season. Once vs Wizards as a 8.5pt fav and won 121-96 and once against Blazers as a 7pt fav and won 118-89. They covered in both games and both opponents didn’t reach 100. I dont mind the -14 here. Clippers should have a fully healthy roster and win this one going away based on the talent discrepancy.

Back after the all star break, hoping for less of the unknown and a better second half to the season in terms of injury reports etc.

3-1 day, ended up taking Warriors -17.5 for an easy cover. Luka started great in the 1st qtr then slowed down in the second qtr for the loss.

Brutal 1-3 day. Saw some bets for tomorrow that I liked but they moved too fast. OKC /Grizzlies total was out at 246.5 and Pistons -1.5 both long gone. Might find something to pair Pistons ML with to get a decent number.
