Thanks Chris, love these and will definitely factor them in my plays. I only browsed the card so far and very limited studying, but I did look at the big one and funny enough, I feel your two picks are the boxed exacta for the race. Give both the best chances for victory, excuse the pun.

T5 Melech @ 33/1, Gimmeanotherchance @ 33/1, both ew.
Melech i'm sticking with, back to sprints and i really feel he has a big one in him. That run in Durban will forever stick in my mind as the one that got away, should have gone much closer. Track will suit and i think 33/1 is a bit of value.
G wiped out in last run and intriguing to see back in sprints, i don't think it's a prep run but if finds 3yr old form is right on top of some of more fancied runners at weights.
T6 Fiery Pegasus @ 6/1 ew
Thought last run was top draw and yard think she’s a superstar in making. Get services of classy UK jock and I think loads improvement to come still from FP.
T7 Fire Attack @ 14/1 ew.
Got to improve a lot to beat top 2 but definitely better than last 2 runs, formlines from earlier career very strong.
T11 Max The Magician @ 17/2 ew
Can forgive last run in wet, is better than that and GL keeps the ride. Gavin is off to KZN next day for a juvenile 800m race so i'd hope staying to end of card on Sat is worth his while!
As for Summer Cup, apart from RV i keep looking at Beating Wings 16/1 and Silver Sanctuary 10/1 as my other 2.
Will look at rest card tomorrow.

Race 1 - Glastonbury EW @ 16.67/1
Babies race, so very small stakes, more hit and hope stuff. Mom did win first time out and Rachel takes 1.5kgs off.
Race 2 - Kaleesh Cyborg EW @ 13/1
His been crying out for the blinkers and I think that could prove the difference now. Nice odds as well for a horse that has run three 3rds and a 4th in four races. Paying 4 places for an EW bet too.
Race 3 - No bet as Dave The King should win but too low in the betting. Likely banker him in some exotics.
Race 4 - Mrs Browning EW @ 8/1
Defending champ and I liked her prep run behind Dyce. Even with her big weight, I think she is overpriced.
Race 5 - Cat's Pajamas EW @ 7/1 & Melech EW @ 33/1
Sorry but I can't have Lucky Lad at 63.5kgs, too much weight to give the rest of the field. Cat's Pajamas is progressive and has more to come imo. Carries a nice weight here. Melech has top C&D form and like South, you can't let this horse run at 33s, makes no sense to me.
Race 6 - Olivia's Way EW @ 9/1
She has been breezing through the ratings and her races. Even though this is her toughest race to date, for me shes still ahead of the handicapper.
Race 7 - No bet. Its either you banker Greaterix in the exotics or add a few like Quid Pro Quo, etc.
Race 8 - Royal Victory EW @ 10/1 (Best Bet)
Besides a popular horse on the forum for Chris and connections, come on its Turffontein and RV! This is my best bet on the day. I will be shocked if he runs out of the top 5. I will be playing this (30% win and 70% on 5 places). The only way RV struggles is if he finds trouble in running. Otherwise despite that wide draw, which I think is even better for him, watch him cut through the field at the final 500m.
Race 9 - Good Council EW @ 9/1
I like what the trainer has done here. Taking him over longer in his recent races and now back down to 2000m. Unbeaten over the distance (just 1 run though lol). Racing with 52.5kgs, I think his overpriced.
Race 10 - Explosive Bond EW @ 6/1
Another race which either you banker Poets Warrior or go wide in exotics. 4kgs better of with the PW, and is in top form. I think there is better value on EB EW than PW to win. If you playing JP3, I would also include Nebraas, Battleground and Raiseahallelujah.
Race 11 - Mastership EW @ 9/1 (2nd Best Bet)
I am hoping this is my icing on the cake final race rather than my get out stakes. Mastership is way overpriced. His in top form, unbeaten over C&D (1 run lol) and loves this distance (4 races, 3 wins and a second). Most importantly, that last run when finishing second to Barbaresco (MR 122) at level weights was ultra impressive. No disrespect to any of these runners, but they are not Barbaresco quality. If Mastership runs anything like his last race, these other horses are running for second.
Goodluck guys, and let's hope for many winners and for RV going back-to-back once again

My original choice Fatal Flaw scratched from R6, suspect this one is Cape Town bound, second choice for me is South's fancy Fiery Pegasus

A couple for me today.
Race 1
Scorpio @ 2/1
Based slowly on stable always having them ready in the big races if I remember. Also half sibling Mount Pinatubo was super fast 1st time out.
Race 2
Green Street @ 11/2
Thought first run was more than decent and got the best draw of the stable.
Race 4
Pablano @ 18/1
Last run was disappointing but first 2 runs were well above average beating a top sort in Cosmic Queen and second run also decent, both over sprints.
Greensofgarland @ 33/1
I remember the Tarry stable always talking highly of this one. Will wait a little while as think may drift.
Race 5
Same as Naidoo and South.
Big on Cats Pajaams & Melech
Race 6
Miss Scarletta @ 40/1
I remember the stable speaking highly of it. Also got decent form over distance.
Race 8
Barberesco @ 14/1
Future Pearl @ 40/1
Both I have been on before and not coming off as think both could pop up.
Also have a few on RV from earlier.
Race 9
Atarime @ 6/1
Crimson King @ 14/1
Both have been good to me and trying with them again.
Race 10
Arumgum @ 40/1
Maybe change of stable will bring him back to his best.
Race 11
Max the Magician @ 10/1
Princeofgreen @ 16/1
Following SOuth with his and mine is an old one, on his day has shown he is much better than his rating.
Enjoy the racing and go RV

I thought i was being smart by holding out for a bigger price on RV as thought bigger yard runners might be backed but strong support so have got a stake at the 7/1 earlier in week but bit short now to add. Hoping he runs a cracker for you Chris.
Added my 2 other fancies SS @ 10/1 and BW @ 25/1 ew.
T9 i'm trying JORDAN @ 12/1 ew, purely on one good run this C/D.
good racing.

Nice run by RV, but I wonder what could of been if Muzi was fit to ride. Gavin gave him too much to do from so far back.
Two exotics summed up how difficult today has been: PA paid R13k lol and Race 8 QT paid 224k

Royal gave it his all but just not our day, he was prepped to the abolsute T so really thought we could win but not to be, still massively proud and think we planning on another crack at the Premiers in April. Many thanks for all the good wishes, much appreciated.
Elsewhere, super impressed with Quid Pro Quo.
Sunday at Scottville, Winning Form picks on the link below, not sure I have the strength to pick up the race card and study properly but I do see Navajo Nation is running in Race 4, back up in trip after 2 runs at 1100m will suit I think, currently trading at around 10/1
