We look forward to the MET on Saturday, latest betting below

Southpaw labelled Red Palace and Future Swing as his early fancy's last week, must say I like Red Palace a lot too.

No local racing on Monday, will have a preview for the Vaal on Tuesday in due course and all this weeks racing tips are most welcome here

Thanks Chris great thoughts.

I’m yet to go through full card but bets down so far -

Red Palace 10/1
Future Swing 16/1
Prices after 20% deduction from GWE scratching

My best ew bet of day -

Cape Flying - LUCKY LAD @ around 13/2

That last run really caught my eye and Tarry yard just hitting a nice patch this last 2 weeks. Back over a sprint I can see him running on strongly the last 200m and I always like GVN on big race days. Goes missing on some cards but big days he seems to hit top riding form.

My fancies for the big day .

Race 1
Leaning towards Whatastar to get things off to a decent start

Race 2
Looks a two horse race and being a small field the pace will be crucial , preference therefore for Fatal Flaw.

Race 3
Open race but I do like Rainbow Lorikeet as I've followed her for sometime.

Race 4
Poets Warrior is a good upcoming stayer and represents the visiting Azzie yard , however I'm giving Love is a Rose one last chance .

Race 5
Tough race , Let it be said narrowly.

Race 6
Berry's Boogie is a potential improver here and my top choice.

Race 7
Joining South with Lucky Lad , I think he'll be flying at the finish.

Race 8
I think Future Swing is primed to grab a big race and really like strongly for the Met

The last four races I need to work through still.

Last 4 races below

Race 9
Wide open race with plenty who could show dramatic improvement , I'm liking the look of Regulation.

Race 10
Please be True wasn't given a good ride last time , I know as I backed him , with him again today , tough race though .

Race 11
Gallic Dream has always been decent and has a very handy weight in this event , my ew .

Race 12
Wide open finale , going for a roughie in African Prince EW

Play well lads

K1 - very competitive, will take a watching brief for now.

K2 - Roccapina ew @ 12/1 weighted to places. I rate this filly, was on her last time and think she can give some cheek to the top 2.

K3 - Omikami @ 18/1 ew. Just trying a roughie here, low galloping mass and hoping she gets out front and hard to peg back.

K4 - Future Peal (need to shop around but hoping for 10/1 or bigger). Tarry yard warming up nicely last couple weeks and FP not down for a holiday, has the class to trouble this field.

K5 - Fibonacci 33/1 ew. Rating slowly dropping, does like to rattle home late and handy mass today.

others to follow.

K6 - Symphony in White @ 12/1 ew. On run to QPQ in grade 1 she's a massive runner here.

K7 - LUCKY LAD already posted, 7/1 ew available.

K8 - RED PALACE 10/1, FUTURE SWING 16/1 posted earlier in week.

K9 - Wild Intent @ 17/2 ew. Jock and trainer combine well in past.

Might come back for last few if the winners haven't arrived!

Well done on catching Legal Council South

Poor day for me, didn't get too involved but went deep (5 legs) with a small acca PA but went out in the main race - must have paid well
