Midweek it's the Chelttenham Festival in the UK, Tuesday to Friday, I will have a look if I get chance and anybody punting UK racing is most welcome to post any tips.
Maybe I’ve missed some news, but do you know why no local racing for 3 days? Never seen that before.

Pretty sad state of affairs but hopefully this is the low point. Sales figures makes me think the situation will improve but then again I think Mauritius is opening up again soon and I dare say quite a few steeds will be heading there.

Just checking the decs and noticed next week also blank Monday and Tuesday and possibly Wednesday as well.

As earlier mentioned the lack of race meetings scheduled recently is a right worry too . Anyway , we carry on for now.
Race 1
KT's nice runner up last time at a big price, One Fine Winter should prove too hot in the opener but limited price sadly .
Race 2
Tina Lovelace finished just behind stablemate One Fine Winter whilst also making her debut and is priced up a short priced favourite to give the Tarry / Munger combination a quick doube .
Race 3
An even shorter fav appears in the 3rd race with Apache Chief as short as 1/4 to make it 3 favourites in a row , however I wouldn't touch the fav at that price and looking to beat it with Sovereign Crown who has improved with blinkers and has the mount of the Candyman.
Race 4
Flight Light also hails from teh Tarry yard in an open race , drawn a little wide but should improve on his last 3.
Race 5
Hotarubi was given a peach of a ride last time will find it harder though in this one. Preference for Raddichio / Purple Pitcher ( despite the latter carrying a hefty top weight )
Race 6
Another odds on in Pomodoro's Jet , won easily last twice but price too skinny , Captain Peg looks decent upset material
Race 7
Almond Sea won well last time coming off the pace , she has her issues and I plan to try beat her . top weight Elegant Ice is drawn well and should be flying at the end .
Race 8
Oxilis Gold is my best for the day , Sakkie de kok .
Race 9
Lot's of money for Sakkie's Roaming Spirit and must be respected , I like the look of Accept Cookies .
Play well bruv's

Onto Sunday, Kenuilworth,
R3 Peace of Mind, 7/1, MR dropping nicely, hopefully to a winning mark, Lerena up
R4 Blue Holly, 9/2 Trainer has often said she is a real speed ball so comeing back to 1000m should help
R5 Teflon Man, 10/1 speculative play as back from gelding and a break but if close to being 100% could be involved
R9 Celtic Rumours 12/1. Tarry has had a few horses based in the Cape for the season and without much success, this one would need to be back to its best but yard overdue in WCP
R10 Industrialstrength 3/1, still lightly raced, traffic problems last time, gate 1 today
All the best guys

K9 CELTIC RUMOURS 12.5/1 ew
Been bumping some of the best over various distances and this looks much more her level. I can’t help but think Lerena could have got on board a few more fancied runners here but he reunites with Werners for Tarry.
Skimming card for any others.
