It's also Turffontein on Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday are blank. Friday is Fairview, Saturday is a double header, Kenilworth and turffontein and the week wraps up at Scottsville on Sunday. All this week's racing tips are most welcome here

Turffontein Monday abandoned, inspection in the mroning to see if Tuesday's racing can go ahead. If that gets canned, nothing locally till Fairview on Friday.

Industry really needs that double header on Saturday to go ahead. Hopefully no weather or track issues interrupt again.

A couple at Turffontein, both drawn wide so will need some luck.
R4 Copper Mist 12/1, MR dropping nicely, has run 2 good races over this trip and has been running in much stronger.
R9 Azaleas For All 7/1 wide open handicap, Lerena up, 3rd run back from break, really good record this trip

Turffontein R2 adding Grand Crsecendo, a real awkward customer but on best form would be hard to beat imo so quite backable at 4/1 with Lerena on top. Trainer put in a stablemate too, presumably to keep the race alive as its a small field,
Pushed for time, quickly at Kenilworth, think Kaiboy 7/2 the right one in R9, Domeyer presumably had option to ride Air Ride who is back from a break.

Once again a race meeting cancelled due rain , this time in CT , I have never seen such nonsense in my life and can only assume the courses are trash or the jock will only race on dry .

Been a good punting weekend so trying one interest on the horses -
Race 10 LIONS EYE @ 33/1 ew. Lightly raced 4yr old son of Silvano, the Silvanos get better with age and some excuses last 2 outings. Open to improvement in this sort of field.
