still a bit annoyed with myself for missing sepp straka before round one started last week. anyway i took the 100/1 ew (top 5) for this week when he was 2 back from lead on thurs (posted on lw thread) and i see he's now half that.

going to look for others to add tonight, will no doubt add my usual trio of burns, hoge and conners.

Brent probably right here but still taking a selection. The Betexchange Majors deal worked perfectly as 50% of my bet on Scheffler was refunded instantly. My picks selected on same basis as Johan as the course requires distance and accuracy off the tee. In the Africa group I am going with Erik. Dean is long but ranks 47th in fairways hit out of 50 odd on LIV. Garrick is exactly the same and I can't see van Tonder or Lawrence making the cut given current form. So between van Rooyen and Bez.

Will join Johan on that Scott pick. Day probably the threat. Don't think MW Lee hits enough fairways.

Brent, I have to be honest, I am considering taking some of the 28/1 I have seen for him.

I can easily see him burning up the course today and coming back with a 63. To me he is only 5 back of the main contenders, the balance of the field I believe will come back to him. I have not seen him drive so badly since his melt down at the Masters to Charl.

Anyway that is my stupid thought process.
