Winning Form selections for all races from @Hollywoodbets Durbanville on Sunday 5th October where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

CALL OF THE KAROO has finished second in her last two starts, the latest of which was over this C&D. She raced from just off the pace last time before getting outrun late by Marketa. She will be at peak fitness and from pole position, she can shed her maiden tag.

RUBY REX returns from a 21-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. She has some good form lines to her credit and if not in need of the run, she should pose a threat.

CRAZY LITTLE THING finished 3 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and she may have to settle for the same result.

Race 2

SIMBINE has decent recent form lines to his name. He has been gelded which may have done the trick. The son of What A Winter jumps from pole position and if not too green around the turn, he may be the one to beat.

RED WAVE is better than his last start over 1600m as he was harbouring a virus. He finished third over this distance in his second career start. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

SLASH ‘N BURN is an unraced son of Mehmas from the James Crawford stable with Richard Fourie booked to ride. He is related to multiple winners including Imilenzeyokududuma and Enemy Territory. If not in need of the run, he should start his career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to his chances.

Race 3

OLIVER finished 2 lengths behind SCOTTISH KISS last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish. He will strip much fitter and from a good draw of two, he may be the one to beat.

SCOTTISH KISS is a winner of his last two starts, the latest of which was over this C&D. He is in a good space and can bring up the hat-trick.

GIMMELIGHTNING was running on when third over 1400m on this course last time. He finished 8.25 lengths behind the second choice, three runs ago. He is 4.5kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.

Race 4

NICCI‘S LAW finished 0.75 lengths behind AMAYAH last time. She is 5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. The daughter of Legislate is a progressive type and with luck in running, she can shed her maiden tag.

AMAYAH has shown good improvement in each of her efforts to date. She ran on strongly when second over this C&D last time. Aldo Domeyer is booked to ride, and he may be able to get the best out of her where it matters most.

LILTING SONG finished 2.8 lengths behind the second selection in the race referred to above. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.

Race 5

RARE EARTH is the best bet on the programme. She raced from a handy position over 2000m last time, but found one too good in the form of Beautiful Side. She finished second in her penultimate run over 1700m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. The daughter of Danon Platina meets the right field and she can go one better.

VIVO PER LEI should have finished closer to the winner last time as she had no luck in running. She should have no issues with the step up to 1800m. With a bit of luck in running, she may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

HEAVENLY MAFIA has fair form lines to her name. The daughter of Heavenly Blue should have no issues with the rise to 1800m. She has plenty of scope and can finish in the placings.

Race 6

HEAL AND SOUL lasted long enough when winning the Non-Black Type Winter Country Championship 2000 Final last time. He received a two-pound penalty for that victory. The son of Rafeef is in a good space and can follow up with another victory.

MASTER OF PARIS finished 0.4 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

KING‘S QUEST has good recent form lines to his credit. He has finished second once and third three times from as many starts on this course. He does have to overcome the widest draw, but gets the services of Aldo Domeyer who will give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

Race 7

AVERSATOR caught the eye when second in the Listed Hollywoodbets Sharks Gatecrasher Stakes last time. He was settled at the rear of the field and finished off his race strongly. The son of Rafeef returns from a 17-week break, during which time he would have strengthened up. He clearly has ability and from pole position, may be the one to side with.

PLEASE BE TRUE ran a fair race over this C&D last time. On his previous form, he should go close to winning.

AFRIQUE was an easy winner of his last start over 1600m on the Hollywoodbets Kenilworth Winter course. He received a seven-pound penalty for that victory. The 10-week break would have done him the world of good and if fit, he should have a say.

Race 8

MAURITIUS KESTREL ran a good race when third over this C&D last time. He raced from just off the pace and stayed on at the finish. The blinkers seem to have done the trick on the son of Vercingetorix. He gets the services of 4kgs claiming Apprentice Sifisokuhle Bungane which will assist his cause. From his good draw of two, he should be involved at the finish.

RATTLESNAKE stayed on when second over this C&D last time but found one too good in the form of Sardinia Bay. With a bit of luck in running, he should throw out a big challenge to the top choice.

KAALVOET took his place in the Grade 1 Gold Medallion last time. He returns from an 18-week break, during which time he was gelded. His big mass of 63kgs is a concern, but he cannot be discounted.

Race 9

IRELAND FOREVER ran on from last when third over this C&D last time. It is encouraging that Richard Fourie is booked to ride. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from the widest draw and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

FLYING FINLEY has fair recent form lines to his name. He has won twice, finished second once and third once from eight starts over this distance. Despite his big mass of 63kgs, he should pose a threat.

ALL ABOUT AL finished 2.15 lengths behind SARDINIA BAY last time. He is 4kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He will strip much fitter and can earn another cheque
