Winning Form selections for Fairview on Friday 13th February where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

RACE 1

FYFIELD LEGEND was touched off in his last start over this C&D. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. The son of What A Winter has been gelded since which may have done the trick. With racing experience on his side, he may be the one to beat.

RULES OF CONDUCT is an unraced son of Buffalo Bill Cody from the Alan Greeff stable with Richard Fourie in the saddle. He is related to multiple winners including Taking Silk and Bronze Sword. If not in need of the run, he should start his career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to him and the other unraced entrants.

FUTUROLOGIST was in need of his debut effort over this C&D. The son of Futura would have gained from the experience and should make the natural progression.

RACE 2

TERMINAL VELOCITY should have finished closer to the winner last time as the saddle slipped in running and she was reported to have a mouth injury. The daughter of Global View is back against her own sex and she should enjoy racing on the turf. She meets the right field and can shed her maiden tag.

MISSOURI FLAME has fair consistent form lines to her credit. She over raced over 1400m last time, but stayed on to finish fourth. The daughter of The United States steps up to 1800m and if switching off early, she may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

RED LHASA finished 0.85 lengths behind the second choice last time. She is 0.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.

RACE 3

FAMILY POWER has good consistent form lines to her credit. She moved up well over 1600m on this course last time before getting touched off by Epikleros. The daughter of Louis The King is having her peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. She gets the services of 4kgs claiming Apprentice Girish Dookhit and can notch up her fifth-career victory.

HOERIKWAGGO found one too good in the form of Splicethemainbrace in the Non-Black Type Lady’s Bracelet last time. She won her previous two efforts over this distance. If jumping on terms, she should throw out a big challenge to the top choice.

AVERNIAN GODDESS was running on when fourth over 1200m on the polytrack last time. She is having her first run on this course and if suited, she should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

RACE 4

PICK A POMODORO should have finished closer to the winner last time as he was cramped for galloping room at the 150m mark. The son of Pomodoro has cracked a good draw of three. He meets the right field and can shed his maiden tag.

FROM THE HIP ran a fair race over 1400m on this course last time. He is drawn wide once again and with luck in running, he may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

MYSTIC VISION finished 0.5 lengths behind the second selection last time. He is 4kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.

RACE 5

INGQWELE showed good improvement in his local debut effort over this distance on the polytrack. He raced from a handy position, tried hard but found one too good in the form of Global Ally. The son of Fire Away takes a drop in class. Marco van Rensburg is likely to use his early gate speed to overcome the wide draw and he may be hard to peg back.

A BIT CHILLY ran a fair race over 2000m on the polytrack last time. It must be noted that Bad Medicine has come out and won again since. He drops back in class and is one of the leading contenders.

CORAL CREEK showed good improvement when second over this C&D last time. He was slow into stride and finished off his race well. Richard Fourie retains the ride and if confirming his recent improvement, he should be competitive.

Race 6

SPOIL YOURSELF was running on when second over 2000m on the polytrack last time. She finished 4.25 lengths behind WELSH STARLET in her penultimate run. She is 8.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. If not too far out of her ground turning for home, she can go one better.

WELSH STARLET was an easy winner of her last start over 1900m on the polytrack. She received an eight-pound penalty for that victory. She is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

OLIVE OYL is better than her last start as she was reported to be in season. She has finished second twice and third three times from seven starts on this course. She jumps from pole position and if getting away on terms, she should have a say.

RACE 7

HENRY‘S HEDGE took the lead at the 600m mark last time and kept finding to keep all challengers at bay. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The blinkers have done the trick on the son of Louis The King. Luyolo Mxothwa is likely to use his early gate speed to overcome the wide draw and he may be hard to peg back.

CURTISS CONDOR tried hard when second over 1600m on the polytrack last time. He is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. He should enjoy racing on this track and is a big threat.

ROTOTO found one too good in the form of Sesame last time. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from the widest draw and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

RACE 8

NORTH STAR has good consistent form lines to her credit. She tried hard when second in the Breeders Guineas Plate last time. The daughter of Erik The Red won her only attempt over this C&D. Richard Fourie steps back into the saddle and she should go close.

CHOCOLATE BOMB is unbeaten from two starts since arriving in the Eastern Cape. He is having his first run on this track and if suited to the turf, he can bring up the hat-trick.

WAROFDYNAMITE has fair recent form lines to his name. He finished 2.1 lengths behind the second choice in his penultimate run. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish
