Winning Form selections for Fairview on Friday 23rd January where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

RACE 1

KENTUCKY LASSIE rallied late when beaten a neck over this C&D last time. The daughter of Declarationofpeace is a progressive type and jumps from pole position. She is the stable elect with Wayne Agrella aboard and can shed her maiden tag.

LAYDELAY finished 0.05 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

SOMBREUIL has not finished too far off the winner in recent outings. She was reported to be fatigued after her last outing. The daughter of What A Winter is back against her own sex and with luck in running, she should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

RACE 2

ROYAL CITY GIRL won a game race over 1600m on this course last time. She raced from a handy position and kept finding to hold all challengers at bay. She has won once and finished second twice from as many starts over this C&D. She is the best-weighted runner and can follow up with another victory.

AUGUSTA ROSSO may have cost herself winning last time as she hung inwards in the final 250m. Her last victory came under Richard Fourie. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.

NORTH STAR is lightly raced with good form lines to her credit. She is not the stable elect but has scope, and should produce another honest effort.

RACE 3

FRENCH FLAME has good consistent form lines to his credit. He set the pace over this C&D last time before getting outrun late. The son of Fire Away drops back in class and from pole position, he may be hard to peg back.

WILD FIG has finished second in his last four starts. He finished 0.75 lengths behind TRIPPING THUNDER last time. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

TRIPPING THUNDER won a good race over this C&D last time. He finished 2.25 lengths behind the top selection in his penultimate run. He is 0.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may battle to turn the form around.

RACE 4

ONE DANCE followed up her maiden win with a good second-place finish over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time. The daughter of One World has relocated to the Eastern Cape and is having her first run for Kelly Mitchley. If taking to the polytrack, she should be the one to beat.

TWILIGHT BAY ran a good race when third over this distance on the turf last time. It must be noted that Hoerikwaggo has come out and won again since. She is likely to race on the speed and if not in need of the run, she may be hard to peg back.

MY AMI BEACH stayed on when third over 1200m on this course last time. She would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. She takes a drop in class and cannot be discounted.

RACE 5

GALILEO STAR was unlucky not to have won his last start over 1200m on this course. He received a bump at the 100m mark and was reported to be fatigued. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. With a bit of luck in running, he can go one better.

KINGS AGAIN has not finished too far off the winner in recent outings. She has won once, finished second once and third twice from as many starts over this C&D. She is drawn wide but gets the services of Richard Fourie who will give her all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

ONE TOO MANY finished 0.1 lengths behind the second choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

Race 6

IZANAMI ran on well when second over 1300m on this course last time. She has won once and finished second once from as many starts over this C&D. Apprentice Nichola Yuen takes the 1.5kgs off her back and with luck in running, she can notch up her second-career victory.

FARAWAY GIRL finished 0.1 lengths behind the top choice last time. She is 1kg worse off at the weights and may battle to turn the tables.

ALEX MILLER finished 0.05 lengths behind the top selection last time. She is 1.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result. If jumping on terms, she should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

RACE 7

EL ROMIACHI should have finished closer to the winner last time as he raced wide around the turn and hung inwards in the straight. Five of his ten career victories have come over this C&D. 4kgs claiming Apprentice Girish Dookhit steps back into the saddle and on best form shown, he may be the one to beat.

GLOBAL ALLY is better than his last start in the Non-Black Type Fairview 1900. His penultimate run when fourth over this C&D was encouraging. He takes a drop in class and is one of the leading contenders.

GLOBAL STATE was an easy winner of his last start over this C&D. He received a six-pound penalty for that victory. The son of Global View is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

RACE 8

O SPACE O stayed on at the finish after a slow start over this C&D last time. He found one too good in the form of Bahamian Beat that day. If jumping on terms from pole position, he can shed his maiden tag in this field.

AETHELWULF finished 1.25 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 4.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.

GREY WARRIOR finished 0.5 lengths behind PICK A POMODORO last time. He is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish. He finished second in his only attempt over this C&D. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from the widest draw and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

RACE 9

BAHAMIAN BEAT was an easy winner when shedding his maiden tag over 1600m on this course last time. The son of Global View should be at home over this distance. He takes on stronger, but has plenty of scope and should be up to the task at hand.

PYROMANIAC ran a good race when third over 1400m on this course last time. He was reported to be not striding out that day. He has cracked a good draw of two and is one of the leading contenders.

BLACKBERRY BREEZE has decent consistent form lines to his name. He has cracked pole position and gets the services of 4kgs claiming Apprentice Girish Dookhit. The son of Silvano merits obvious consideration
