Winning Form selections for Fairview on Friday 7th November where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge
RACE 1
ICONIC WINTER has fair form lines to her credit. She stayed on when fourth over this distance at the Vaal last time. The daughter of What A Winter is having her first run in the Eastern Cape for Trainer Dean Smith. Craig Zackey does duty and if settled into her new surroundings, she can shed her maiden tag.
OCEAN FLAME showed good improvement when second in her local debut over this C&D. She was touched off by Genovefa that day. If confirming her recent improvement, she should throw out a big challenge to the top choice.
MIDNIGHT MUSIC‘S last two starts have been fair. She finished 4.25 lengths behind the second choice in her penultimate run. She is 4kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.
RACE 2
ENCHANTING CHOICE is unbeaten from three starts since arriving in the Eastern Cape. She showed a good turn of foot over this C&D last time and drew clear with ease. The daughter of Rafeef returns from a well-deserved 11-week break which would have done her the world of good. She should take a power of beating.
MONTELENA should have finished closer to Direct Hit last time as she hung inwards in the final 200m. She gets the services of 4kgs claiming Apprentice Bavish Soodoo which will assist her cause.
UNCONQUERABLE LADY tried hard when second over this C&D last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. The daughter of Danon Platina cannot be discounted.
RACE 3
RED LHASA was not persevered with over 1800m on the Hollywoodbets Greyville polytrack last time. Her two starts prior to that outing over this distance were encouraging. The daughter of Potala Palace returns to the Eastern Cape and with Muzi Yeni in the saddle, she may be the one to side with.
CLIFFIE CLAVIN rallied late when second over 1400m on the turf last time. His recent form has been consistent and from pole position, he merits healthy respect.
BOMBER BAY is better than his last start over 1800m on the turf, last week Friday. He has finished second once and third twice from as many starts over this C&D. The blinkers and tongue-tie have been removed which may do the trick.
RACE 4
TERMINAL VELOCITY should have finished closer to the winner last time as the saddle slipped in running. She has relocated to the Eastern Cape and is having her first outing for Trainer Alan Greeff. The daughter of Global View should have no issues with the rise to 2000m and if settled into her new surroundings, she may be the one to beat.
GOLDEN CROC found one too good in the form of subsequent winner East Coast Girl last time. She steps up to 2000m and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, she should be competitive.
AM STILL WINNING was disappointing last time. If finding the form of her penultimate run when third over 1400m on the turf, she can finish in the placings in this line-up.
RACE 5
EPIKLEROS is a winner of her last two starts, the latest of which was in the Listed Jockey Club Stakes over this distance on the turf. She returns from a well-deserved 12-week break which would have done her the world of good. The daughter of Master Of My Fate is likely to be settled near the rear of the field and will be mowing down the frontrunners.
HONORABLE MEMBER was a beaten odds-on favourite when third over 1600m on this course last time. She finished second in her only attempt over this C&D. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.
ONE RELIGION was running on when third over 1800m on this course last time. Two of her three career victories have come over this distance. She jumps from pole position and merits healthy respect.
Race 6
WINTER EMERALDS was his own worst enemy over this distance on the turf last time as he over raced in the early stages. The son of What A Winter is unbeaten from two starts on this course. With a bit of luck from his wide draw, he can notch up his fourth-career victory.
GREEN MANDARIN was an easy winner of his last start over this distance on the turf. The obvious concern is the widest draw. With a bit of luck in running, he may be the one to fill the exacta spot.
LAGUNA VERDE finished 2.5 lengths behind the second selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he may have to settle for the same result.
RACE 7
CHERRY OH BABY stayed on strongly when sixth over this C&D last time. She would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. The daughter of Danon Platina will be finishing strongly and she may be the one to side with.
SPOIL YOURSELF produced a strong finish when winning her last start over 1900m on this course. She gets the services of 4kgs claiming Apprentice Girish Dookhit which will assist her cause. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.
MARSHMALLOW is better than her last start against male company. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. She gets the services of 2.5kgs claiming Apprentice Nirvan Nastili and must be considered.
RACE 8
NOTORIX showed speed over this C&D last time before getting outrun late by Tintamarre. Two of his five career victories have come over this C&D. He takes a drop in class and jumps from a good draw of four. He is likely to race on the speed and may be hard to peg back under Eldin Webber.
TEEREX should have finished closer last time as he was baulked between the 250m mark and 150m mark. He is having his first run for the Kelly Mitchley stable. With a bit of luck in running, he should be competitive.
RAVILIOUS has good recent form lines to his credit. He tried hard when touched off by Buffalo Bill last time. 4kgs claiming Apprentice Bavish Soodoo retains the ride and the combination merit healthy respect
