Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Greyville on Tuesday 18th November where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Please note this meeting has ben switched from Scottsville to the Greyville Polytrack due to rain in KZN. Check for scratchings!

Race 1

MYSTIC DANCER raced green around the turn over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time, but finished off her race well. Her debut effort when second over this C&D catches the eye. The daughter of The United States is back against her own sex and should strip much fitter. Kabelo Matsunyane retains the ride and the combination should find themselves in the winner’s enclosure.

PRIORY TERRACE lacked a strong finish over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. She may be at her best over this distance and she is ideally suited to the straight course. Athandiwe Mgudlwa steps back into the saddle, and she should pose a threat.

MALSHANA MOU returns from a 27-week break and is having her first start for the Louis Goosen stable. Her penultimate run when second over this C&D was encouraging. If not in need of the run, she would not be a shock winner.

Race 2

ERIC‘S LEGACY is the best bet on the programme. He produced a promising debut effort over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville. He lost two lengths leaving the start, but the manner in which he finished off his race caught the eye. The son of Vercingetorix meets the right field and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should take a power of beating.

LOVECOMESKNOCKING is an unraced daughter of Gimmethegreenlight from the Tony Rivalland yard with Mathew Thackeray booked to ride. She is related to three-time winner Lovegrass. If not in need of the run, she should start her career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her chances.

WAR EMPEROR received a bump leaving the start on debut and was in need of the outing. He would have gained from the experience and can improve to finish in the placings in this line-up

Race 3

DOUBLE CAUSEWAY caught the eye when fifth on debut over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Greyville. He lost a length leaving the start and was running on at the business end. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The son of One World would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1400m. He jumps from a good draw of two and with the natural improvement that is expected, he can go close.

GREATEST HIT was unlucky not to have won his last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville. The son of Canford Cliffs is a progressive type and should pose a massive threat.

BOURBON‘S BEAST should have finished closer last time as he hung inwards in the final 400m. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. With a bit of luck in running, he can finish in the placings.

Race 4

GREEN GLOW was an easy winner when shedding his maiden tag over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Greyville. He took the lead at the 250m mark and won with a ton in hand. The son of Gimmethegreenlight should love the rise to 1950m. He takes on stronger, but has plenty of scope and should be up to the task at hand.

HIGH QUEUE showed good improvement in his first start for the Wengesai Masawi stable. He was settled at the rear of the field and ran on at the business end. The 5yo gelding will strip much fitter and he may have more to come.

MASTER DU ROUVRAY followed up his maiden win with a decent fourth-place finish over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Greyville. He has cracked a good draw of two and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he should be involved at the finish.

Race 5

SIESTA SUNSET is lightly raced with good form lines to her credit. She was running on when third over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. The manner in which she finishes off her races suggests that she will enjoy the rise to 1200m. She is having her peak run and can notch up her third-career victory.

BUTTERCUP BABY raced from a handy position over this distance on the polytrack last time, but found one too good in the form of Hierarchy. Rachel Venniker retains the ride, and she may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

ICY LANCASTER‘S last three starts have been good. She was running on when third over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. S’manga Khumalo steps back into the saddle, and she cannot be discounted.

Race 6

The tentative first selection is FUTURE FLO from the Michael Roberts stable. He has very good consistent form lines to his credit. He was running on when third over 1000m on the polytrack last time. He won his penultimate outing over 1200m on this course. The son of Futura will strip much fitter and he may be the one to side with.

MAJOR TOMMIE was touched off in his last start over 1000m on the polytrack. He should have no issues with the rise to 1100m and is one of the leading contenders.

DONQUERARI finished 0.1 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 0.5kgs worse off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

Race 7

VISION TO ACHIEVE finished 1.05 lengths behind CAPTAIN’S CHRISTY last time. She is 3kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. Three of her five career victories have come over this C&D. It is encouraging that Rachel Venniker is booked to ride and the combination may be hard to peg back.

WINTER RAINFALL finished 0.4 lengths behind CAPTAIN’S CHRISTY in the race referred to above. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and should turn the form around.

CAPTAIN‘S CHRISTY was given a peach of a ride when winning her last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville. The daughter of Captain Of All is clearly in a good space and merits healthy respect.

Race 8

POSITION OF POWER has produced three good runs to date. He lost a length leaving the start, but moved up well before getting caught late by Music Is Life. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The son of Vercingetorix may be ideally suited to the straight course and if jumping on terms, he can return to winning ways.

EXOCET won a good race over this distance on the polytrack last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The son of Mehmas looks to have class about him and merits healthy respect.

COWBOY COUNTRY won a good race on debut over this C&D. He showed good pace and kept finding all the way to the line. The son of The United States takes on stronger, but could be anything and can remain unbeaten.

Race 9

CAPPELLINO is better than his last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville. His two efforts prior to that outing on this course were good. His last victory came under Calvin Habib. The son of Hat Puntano is likely to race on the speed and may be hard to peg back.

FATE OF FORTUNE kept finding when winning his last start over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Greyville. Rachel Venniker retains the ride, and he merits healthy respect.

NAVAJO DANCER finished 1.6 lengths behind the second choice last time. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result. He is having his peak run today and will be cherry-ripe
