Winning Form selections for Fairview on Friday 2nd October where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

Note this meeting has been switched from turf to polytrack

RACE 1

ALESIAN BEAU showed plenty of toe when finishing third last time out over 1200m, two lengths behind the winner. He has cracked pole position and looks to be the one to side with here.

PALME D’OR did finish 0.75L lengths in front of the former in the same 1200m race mentioned above, but that effort was a massive improvement on his first two runs, so he would need to confirm the run.

NORSE WARRIOR has shown consistent recent form and finished fourth in the same 1200m contest, 2.1L back from the victor. He raced just behind the speed that day and then stayed on well over the closing stages. The gelding will have an inexperienced workrider on board, but should not be easily overlooked.

RACE 2

CAMDEN SQUARE made good late progress when finishing second in her last start over 1400m, beaten just a neck and on that performance, she should appreciate the extra ground on offer here, and her handy draw two will do her no harm.

BURNING DESIRE was bumped when ending up in second place last time out over 1600m, 2.75L off the winner. She also steps up in trip, but if seeing out the distance, she should be involved in the finish.

TOTAL ERUPTION did not shine the only time she attempted this journey, but she has not been too far behind the victor in her last three outings, the latest over 1400m, 4.5L adrift of the winner. She jumps from gate five and could complete the trifecta.

RACE 3

TIME HONORED is seldom too far off the action, finishing second in his last start over 1400m, just one length behind the winner. He made good late progress that day and from a wide draw nine, he should be doing his best work late.

MONKEY‘S WEDDING tried to go from jump to wire when finishing third in his latest outing in the same 1400m contest as the former, 1.75L back from the winner, but as the pair meet on the same weight terms as before, he may have to settle for the same result, notwithstanding a slightly better gate seven.

TRICKLE CHARGE has only had the three runs to date, but did improve to end up in fifth spot last time out over 1400m, two and a half lengths adrift of the winner. She is a 3yr old filly bumping males and is drawn the widest of them all in gate eleven, but she gets Richard Fourie in the irons to aid her cause.

RACE 4

PRETTY AWESOME won over 1200m on debut and then finished third next time out over 1000m, two lengths back from the winner when returning from a three month rest. She would have come on further with that run under her belt and she is likely to enjoy the step up in trip.

BOSNAY battled all the way down to the wire when finishing fourth in her last start over 1600m, 2.1L back from the victor and on that effort and gate four, she should keep the top pick honest. In addition, she will have 2.5kgs removed from her allocated weight courtesy of her claiming apprentice.

TOKYO PRINCESS is drawn one inside the former and made good late progress when ending up in second place last time out on the polytrack, 0.75L back from the winner. She finished off her race strongly that day and it is encouraging that Muzi Yeni retains the ride.

RACE 5

KLEINZEE has won six on the bounce, the last three on the polytrack and the latest by 1.25L. She’s set to carry 62kgs, but has done so in the past and is re-united with Richard Fourie. She could be good enough to continue on her winning streak.

HONORABLE MEMBER finished sixth behind the top pick last time out over 1600m, 4.35L behind and is 9kgs better off at today’s weights, which should normally be good enough to turn the tables and despite jumping from pole position, the former is still preferred given the manner in which she keeps on winning.

ONCIDIUM has won two of her last four starts, the latest on the polytrack by 1.25L, notwithstanding jumping awkwardly and hanging in from the 200m mark. She has a cozy draw four and champion jockey Craig Zackey retains the ride.

RACE 6

TOO LATE MY MATE is seldom far off the action, finishing second in her last start on the polytrack, 1.25L behind the winner. She is a 5yr old mare bumping males, but she gets a handy draw two and will be looking to go one better in this line-up.

JOKER MAN has consistent formlines to his name although recorded as finishing fifth last time out over 1400m, he was just 1.4L behind the winner. That was in the same contest as the former and he is 0.5kgs better off at today’s weights, so there should not be too much separating the pair when they hit the line.

POLICY OF TRUTH put 5.5L between himself and the opposition when winning his last start over 2000m. That was just his third start for his new trainer since relocating from KZN and although taking a drop in trip, he should not be lightly overlooked.

RACE 7

The day’s best bet, CRUISE CONTROL is a sixteen time winner from thirty four starts and has won three of his last four starts, finishing a head second in the other. His latest victory came on the poly by 1.75L and from gate six, he looks hard to topple.

ANUSCHKA‘S WORLD stumbled, but recovered quickly to pick up the pace before ending up in second spot last time out over 1000m, beaten just a head, so he had his excuse. The gelding has pulled gate two and he could emerge as the biggest threat to the top choice.

FAIRY KNIGHT chased hard after being bumped to finish fourth last time out in that same 1000m contest as the former, 2.6L behind the winner, but as they meet on the same weight terms here, he may battle to reverse that last result.

RACE 8

WILD FIG has won four of his last five outings and has finished second in the other, the latest over 2000m, albeit by just a head. However it should be noted that he was baulked for a run between the 500m and 250m mark, so that victory was full of merit. He retains the services of Richard Fourie and another win is certainly on the cards.

He does renew his rivalry with TERMINATOR who finished second in the 2000m race mentioned above, beaten just a head. He is 2kgs better off with the former at today’s weights, which would normally be enough to reverse that result, but the former gets the nod based on the interference that he encountered in that last contest.

GEORGE HANDEL finished second in his last two starts, the latest on the polytrack, 5.5L adrift of the winner, but he did shift around from the 300m that day. The gelding has won twice from three starts over the C&D, so he should be involved here
