Winning Form selections for Fairview on Friday 8th May where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge
RACE 1
TURBULENT was beaten under a length in his stable debut over 1300m on the polytrack. He raced from a handy position, took a keen hold but stayed on to finish third. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The son of Rafeef drops to 1000m and the tongue-tie will be fitted. He gets the services of capable work rider Sibongile Liyaba and can shed his maiden tag.
ALESIAN BEAU showed speed over this C&D last time before getting outrun late by Atlantic Pearl. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.
DELAROCHE finished 1.85 lengths behind TIMELINE last time. She is 4.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough to turn the form around. Xola Jacobs is booked to ride, and she should have a say in the outcome of this contest.
RACE 2
CHATTERBOX took her place in the Listed East Cape Fillies Nursery on debut. The jockey reported something to be amiss in running that day. The daughter of Canford Cliffs would have gained from the experience. She drops to 1000m and with the natural improvement that is expected, she may be the one to beat.
RED BIRCH was in need of her debut effort over 1200m on this course. The daughter of Erik The Red would have come on from the run and can show good improvement.
CLARA LUME’ ran a fair race on debut over 1200m on this track. The daughter of Erupt would have come on from the outing and may enjoy the drop to 1000m. Chase Maujean steps into the saddle and she should make the natural progression.
RACE 3
SPEED RACER was not disgraced when fifth in the Non-Black Type Fairview Flying Five last time. He was slow into stride and stayed on at the finish. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He gets the services of 4kgs claiming Apprentice Wilmien Fourie which will assist his cause. He will strip much fitter and may be the one to side with.
MASKED VIGILANTE stayed on when fourth over 1200m on the polytrack last time. He drops back in class and with Richard Fourie back in the saddle, he should go close.
FRENCH FLAME stayed on when fourth over 1200m on this course last time. He drops to 1000m for the first time and if suited, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.
RACE 4
PRISCILLA MAISEY ran a good race when second over this C&D last time. She was slow into stride and stayed on at the finish. The daughter of Var takes a drop in class and with Chad Little back in the saddle, she can return to winning ways.
MORFELIHA won a good race over this C&D last time. She received a three-pound penalty for that victory. The daughter of One World gets the services of 2.5kgs claiming Apprentice Sifisokuhle Bungane which will assist her cause. She is in a good space and merits healthy respect.
DETAILED FORECAST followed up her maiden win with a good second-place finish over 1000m on the polytrack last time. She will love the step up to 1200m and with Richard Fourie retaining the ride, she should fight out the finish.
RACE 5
CHERRY OH BABY stayed on at the finish over this C&D last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. Richard Fourie steps back into the saddle, and she can notch up her fourth-career victory.
MAKE BELIEVE is better than her last start as the saddle was reported to have slipped and she was coughing. She has won once and finished second twice from as many starts over this distance. On best form shown, she should be competitive.
KINGS AGAIN raced from a prominent position last time and stayed on to finish third. The daughter of One World is back against her own sex. Xolani Ndlovu steps back into the saddle, and she is a solid back-up for the Greeff yard.
Race 6
HELIOTROPE was an easy winner of her last start over this C&D. She raced from a handy position, showed a good turn of foot and won with a ton in hand. The daughter of Rafeef is having her first run for the Dean Smith stable. She carries another handy galloping mass of 52.5kgs and can follow up.
MAKHACHEV tried hard when second over this distance on the polytrack last time. He finished 4.75 lengths behind the top choice in his penultimate effort. He is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.
CURTISS CONDOR is better than his last start as he was reported to be coughing. Richard Fourie knows him well and if getting away on terms, he can go close.
RACE 7
ANOTHERDANCEFORME is the top bet on the programme. She was an easy winner in the Non-Black Type East Cape Oaks last time. The daughter of Master Of My Fate is unbeaten from eight starts on this course. She tries the 2400m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, she should take a power of beating.
SILVAN MISTRESS won her last start in the Derby Plate easier than the official margin suggests. The daughter of Master Of My Fate steps up to 2400m for the first time. She is in a good space and is a solid back-up for the Alan Greeff stable.
ROYAL MISSY tried hard when 1 length behind the top choice last time. She is 3kgs better off at the weights today which is enough to turn the form around. However, ANOTHERDANCEFORME won easier than the official margin suggests and she may still have the upper hand.
RACE 8
VOLARE E MAMBO has good consistent form to her name. She should have finished closer to the winner over 1400m last time. The daughter of Mambo In Seattle takes a drop in class. She will be mowing down the frontrunners and can return to winning ways.
CHEERFUL CHARLIE B was given a peach of a ride when winning his last start over this C&D. He received a three-pound penalty for that victory. Apprentice Blaine Marx-Jacobson retains the ride and the combination merit healthy respect.
ASINANTANGA finished 0.75 lengths behind the second selection last time. He is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish. If getting away on terms, he should be competitive.
Race 9
QONDANEKUKHANYENI finished 2 lengths behind ROYAL MERMAID last time. She is 4.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough to turn the form around. The fitting of the blinkers seems to have done the trick and from her good draw of four, she can return to winning ways.
ROCKIE BLUE tried hard when beaten a neck over this distance on the polytrack last time. The daughter of Heavenly Blue is in a good space and is one of the leading contenders.
ROYAL MERMAID finished 3 lengths behind the second selection last time. She is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today. The daughter of Potala Palace won her penultimate outing over this C&D. If Craig Zackey uses her early gate speed to overcome the wide draw, she may be hard to peg back
