RACE 1

PRINCESS OF AJIAAL showed improvement when third over this C&D last time. The manner in which she stayed on at the finish was encouraging. The daughter of Danon Platina is back against her own sex and can shed her maiden tag.

CLARA LUME‘ made the expected natural improvement when third over 1000m on this course last time. She raced from just off the pace and stayed on at the finish. She is a progressive type and is one of the leading contenders. She is carded to race on 05 June 2026 and her progress in that race will need to be monitored.

REMIND ME OF YOU is an unraced daughter of Real Gone Kid from the Alan Greeff stable with Richard Fourie in the saddle. She is related to multiple winners Bouquet and Woman Of Substance. If not in need of the run, she should start her career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her chances.

RACE 2

ROCK UP’S last start in the Listed East Cape Fillies Nursery is best ignored as she was reported to be not striding out. She returns from a 12-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. On the form of her debut outing. she can win a race of this nature.

WALK RIGHT IN returns from a 12-week break and is having her first outing for Trainer Jacques Strydom. Kyle Strydom does duty and on the form of her penultimate outing, she can feature in this line-up.

SKIP THE LINE is an unraced daughter of Real Gone Kid from the Alan Greeff stable with Richard Fourie booked to ride. She is related to Party Girl who was victorious on debut. If not in need of the run, she should produce a promising showing. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her chances.

RACE 3

EXPLOSIVE GIFT cost herself winning last time as she hung outwards in the closing stages. The daughter of Lancaster Bomber would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. Craig Zackey steps back into the saddle and he may be able to get the best out of her where it matters most.

WOMAN IN GOLD is the stable companion of the top choice. She returns from an 11-week break and is having her first effort in the Eastern Cape. If settled into her new surroundings, she should be right there at the finish.

RACE 4

ANATOLIAN SILVER has good consistent form to his name. He raced from a handy position over 2200m last time and stayed on to finish third. The son of Futura finished third in his only attempt over this C&D. He takes a drop in class and with luck from the widest draw, he can notch up his third-career victory.

GREEN ISLE lasted long enough when winning her last start over this C&D. She received a three-pound penalty for that victory. With a bit of luck in running, she should give the males a run for their money.

RICHARDTHEFEARLESS finished 0.25 lengths behind MAKHACHEV last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. Kyle Strydom may be able to get the best out of him where it matters most.

RACE 5

GLOBAL ALLY has not finished too far off the winner in his last two starts. It must be noted that the horse that finished second in his last outing has come out and won since. He jumps from a good draw of three and may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

SILVONIAN has good consistent form to his name. He finished 2.85 lengths behind the top choice in his penultimate outing. He is 1kg worse off at the weights and may have to settle for the same result.

RACE 8
