Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Greyville on Monday 22nd June where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge
Race 1
SIERRA FOXTROT showed some improvement when third over 1000m on this course last time. The manner in which she finished off her race that day suggests that she will enjoy the rise to 1200m. The daughter of What A Winter is a progressive type and may have more to come.
COME TOGETHER has produced two good efforts for the Lola Crawford stable. She was running on when second over this C&D last time. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.
ANNIVERSARY finished 3.8 lengths behind the second selection on debut. The daughter of Willow Magic would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she can feature.
Race 2
TIGER CODY lost his last start over 1000m on this course in the boardroom. The son of Buffalo Bill Cody has shown good improvement with the blinkers fitted. Andrew Fortune rides and if keeping on a straight line, he should take a power of beating.
THE BIDDER finished 1.65 lengths behind the top selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he may have to settle for the same result.
UBUNTU OF PEACE has produced two creditable efforts to date. He stayed on when fourth over this C&D last time. The son of Declarationofpeace has scope and should be involved at the finish.
Race 3
MAGICALSKY was given a peach of a ride when winning her last start over this C&D. She received a five-pound penalty for that victory. The daughter of Willow Magic gets the services of 4kgs claiming Apprentice Divesh Ramkhalawon which will assist her cause. She is in a good space and can notch up her fifth-career victory.
CATCH A PENNY was running on when sixth over this C&D last time. She finished 0.3 lengths behind the top choice in her penultimate run. She is 1kg better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.
SUMMER WINTER rallied late when second over this C&D last time. She is back against her own sex and Keagan de Melo may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most.
Race 4
LET IT ROLL showed good improvement when fifth over 1400m on this course last time. He raced wide around the turn but stayed on at the finish. The son of Elusive Fort is a progressive type and will love the rise to 1600m. Mickaelle Michel takes the 1.5kgs off his back and with luck in running, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
GREEN COMMANDER moved up well last time but found one too good in the form of stable companion, Quandura. If repeating that effort in this field, he should go close once again.
CAPTAIN T finished 1.3 lengths behind the second choice last time. He is 2.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.
Race 5
RED BOMBER ran a good race when fourth over 1200m on this course last time. He raced from a handy position and stayed on at the business end. He has won once, finished second twice and third twice from seven starts over this distance. From his good draw of two, he may be the one to beat.
GALLIC VICTOR should have finished closer to the winner over 1200m last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. The blinkers remain fitted and with a bit of luck in running, he should pose a threat.
IRELAND FOREVER finished 0.7 lengths behind the second choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.
Race 6
SNOW MOON was unlucky in his last start over this C&D. He finished 1.2 lengths behind NAVAJO DANCER that day. He is 4.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough to turn the form around. With a bit of luck in running, he may be the one to beat.
HEARTS ON FIRE finished 0.5 lengths behind NAVAJO DANCER in the race referred to above. She is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today. If all goes according to plan, she should be involved at the finish.
NAVAJO DANCER has consistent form to his credit. He was baulked at a crucial stage in his last start over this C&D. The son of Captain Of All is having his peak run today and will be cherry-ripe.
Race 7
This is a competitive Class 5 contest for the girls and caution is advised. The tentative first choice is MYSTIQUE ROUGE from the MJ Odendaal stable. She stayed on when second over 1400m on this course last time. She has won twice and finished second once from as many starts over this C&D. The 6yo mare may be the one to side with.
PRINCESS GOLDIE produced a typical second run after a rest last time. She finished third in her penultimate outing over this C&D. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight is having her peak run today and is one of the leading contenders.
SAUDI SWEEP is much better than her last start over this C&D. Her penultimate run when fourth behind Snow Moon catches the eye. If getting away on terms, she would not be a shock winner.
Race 8
ARILENA tried hard when fourth over 1000m on this course, against stronger company last time. She is having her peak run and should be cherry-ripe. She drops in class and is back against her own sex. Tristan Godden is likely to use her early gate speed to overcome the widest draw and she may be hard to peg back.
POETIC PRINCESS is a winner of her last two starts, the latest of which was over this C&D. She received a four-pound penalty for that victory. The daughter of What A Winter is in a good space and can notch up the hat-trick.
SUN IN MY POCKET is better than her last start over 1000m on this course. She has won once, finished second twice and third once from six starts over this trip. She has cracked a good draw of two and must be considered
