Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Tuesday 16th June where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge
Race 1
PEACE GARLAND stayed on at the finish over this C&D last time, but found one too good in the form of Before Sunrise. She is back against her own age group and with Mickaelle Michel retaining the ride, she can go one better.
JULIET OF VERONA showed improvement when second over 1200m last time. The daughter of Master Of My Fate is a progressive type and will love the rise to 1400m. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.
OH ISABELLA finished 2.25 lengths behind the top selection last time. She is 1.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.
Race 2
IT’SGOOD IT’SNICE has finished second in both his efforts to date. He set the pace over this C&D last time, tried hard but found one too good in the form of Hero’s Journey. Jockey Sean Veale is likely to use his early gate speed from pole position and he may be hard to peg back.
UNCLE SAM finished 0.3 lengths behind the top choice on debut. He lost a length leaving the start that day and finished off his race strongly. With the natural improvement that is expected, he should pose a massive threat.
AFRICAN WILD DOG showed good improvement when second over 1200m last time. He moved up well before getting outrun late by Bachata. He is having his peak run and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he should be competitive.
Race 3
MADRA RUA showed some signs of needing his first outing as a gelding. The son of Frankel would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. He may be ideally suited to the drop to 1000m and in this field, he can shed his maiden tag.
KIM CHANEL was caught late when second over this C&D last time. 2.5kgs claiming Apprentice Sifisokuhle Bungane retains the ride. She is having her peak run and may be the one to fill the exacta spot.
SWIFT SERENITY has finished second in her last four starts. She was running on over 1200m last time. She has finished second three times and third three times from eight starts over this C&D. The daughter of Captain Of All merits healthy respect
Race 4
PITERAQ showed speed over 1000m on this course last time and stayed on to finish third. She finished 0.75 lengths behind SCANDALIZE, three runs ago. She is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough to turn the form around. If all goes according to plan, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.
SCANDALIZE has fair recent form to her name. It must be noted that multiple horses from her last form line have come out and won since. The daughter of Master Of My Fate may be the one to fill the exacta spot.
JEWEL MULE lost a length leaving the start on debut, understandably raced green but stayed on at the finish. The daughter of One World would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1200m. With the natural improvement that is expected, she should have a say.
Race 5
READY FOR THE ROAD ran a good race when second over this C&D last time. He set the pace but found one too good in the form of Mutiny In Heaven. JP van der Merwe is likely to adopt the same tactics and he may be hard to peg back.
MASTERONTHEMOON had excuses in his last start over 1800m. He finished third over this distance, three runs ago. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.
MASTER COINER stayed on when second over 1950m on this course last time. He finished 2.8 lengths behind the top selection in his penultimate effort. He is 0.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same resu
Race 6
MAJOR MASTER won his last start over 1600m easier than the official margin suggests. He has won three times and finished second once from as many starts over this distance. He should get a good run in transit and despite his big mass, he can notch up his sixth-career victory.
ROCCAPINA is the stable companion of the top choice. She is better than her last start in the Listed Ladies Mile. On her previous two efforts over this distance, she should give the males a run for their money.
GOLD GIBOSKI was running on when second over 1000m last time. He would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. He has finished second once and third once from as many starts over this distance. The son of Gold Standard should produce another honest performa
Race 7
SIGNOR DANTE was an easy winner of his last start over this C&D. He raced from a handy position, showed a good turn of foot and drew clear of the opposition. He received a five-pound penalty for that victory. Richard Fourie retains the ride and the combination can follow up.
DEVIL A SAINT finished 2.5 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 4kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough to turn the form around. However, SIGNOR DANTE won easier than the official margin suggests and may still have the upper hand.
LOVING PRAGUE was a tad disappointing in his last start over 1200m. He finished third in his penultimate outing over this distance. With a bit of luck from the widest draw, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.
Race 8
WINTER PEARL has good consistent form to his credit. He showed speed over this C&D last time and stayed on to finish third. The 7yo gelding drops back in class and with Craig Zackey back in the saddle, he can notch up his sixth-career victory.
OZARK finished 1.8 lengths behind PRINCE OF TIBET last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough to turn the form around. PRINCE OF TIBET won a game race over this C&D last time. He received a five-pound penalty for that victory. He is in a good space and merits healthy respect.
