Race 1
This is a competitive Maiden Juvenile Plate and caution is advised. The tentative first selection is ELUSIVE DRAGON from the Paul Matchett stable. She tried hard over this C&D last time, but found one too good in the form of Perfect Sky. The daughter of Elusive Fort receives her sex allowance and may be the one to side with.
BERRY LANCER finished 1.7 lengths behind RISING EAGLE last time. He is 4kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.
RISING EAGLE took the lead at the 300m mark on debut before getting outrun late by Highwayman Harry. The son of Vercingetorix would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should be competitive.
Race 2
RIVERA produced a promising debut effort over 1000m on this course. She looked threatening that day before getting outrun late by Bisou Bisou. The well-bred daughter of Malmoos would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1160m. With the natural improvement that is expected, she should take a power of beating.
ARABELLA FIGG received a bump leaving the start on debut over this C&D, took time to find her feet but stayed on at the finish. She would have come on from the run and should make the natural progression.
LIGHTINTHEWOODS was not beaten far when fourth over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight will strip much fitter. She has plenty of scope and must be considered.
Race 3

He is 3.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough to turn the form around. The son of Royal Mo will be running on and can notch up his fourth-career victory.
UMZINGELI WENYATHI has good recent form to his name. He won his penultimate outing over this C&D, under Rachel Venniker. The son of Buffalo Bill Cody can notch up his fourth-career victory.
PLUS FOUR finished 2.2 lengths behind the second selection last time. He is 0.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.
Race 4

THE PLAYBOY BOMBER got up late when winning his last start over 2000m on the Inside course. He received a three-pound penalty for that victory. He won his only attempt over this C&D. The son of Lancaster Bomber always gives of his best and merits healthy respect.
JORDAN finished 4 lengths behind the second selection last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.
Race 5
PAGE BOY rallied late when winning his last start over 2000m on the Inside course. He received a five- pound penalty for that victory. He finished third over this C&D, three runs ago. Keagan de Melo retains the ride and the combination can follow up.
HEAL AND SOUL stayed on when third in his stable debut over 1450m on the Vaal Classic course. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.
EIGER SANCTION has inconsistent form to his name. He gets the services of 4kgs claiming Apprentice Divesh Ramkhalawon which will assist his cause. If getting away on terms, he can cause the surprise.
Race 6
SPACE MISSION fought hard for his last victory in the Non-Black Type KZN Breeders 1600. He received a four-pound penalty for that victory. The son of Willow Magic is back on the Highveld and with luck in running, he can go close.
ITSNOWORNEVER has fair recent form to his name. He was reported to be not striding out last time. The booking of Craig Zackey is a big plus and if keeping on a straight line, he should pose a threat.
SNOW MOON stayed on when fourth over 1400m on the Hollywoodbets Greyville polytrack last time. The son of Last Winter steps back up to the mile and can earn another cheque.
Race 7
MAX THE MAGICIAN finished 0.9 lengths behind VIBE SA last time. He was unlucky not to have won that day as he was baulked for running room from the 500m mark to the 200m mark. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights which is enough to turn the form around. Gavin Lerena retains the ride and if all goes according the plan, he can notch up his sixth-career victory.
