Winning Form selections for racing from Turffontein on Thursday 30th April where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

Race 1

ELUSIVE DRAGON was a tad disappointing in her last start over 1200m at the Vaal. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. Her penultimate run when second over 1000m on this course was eye-catching. She is a filly with scope and may be the one to side with.

INDECENT OBSESSION finished 1.3 lengths behind the top choice on debut. The daughter of William Longsword would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1160m. With the natural improvement that is expected, she should pose a threat.

TIMELESS is an unraced son of Futura from the Roy Magner stable with Richard Fourie booked to ride. He is related to multiple winners and if not too green, he should start his career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to him and the other unraced entrant.

Race 2

ROYAL TIARA produced a promising debut effort over 1000m on this course. The daughter of Rafeef took time to find her feet, but the manner in which she stayed on at the finish was encouraging. She would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1160m. With the natural improvement that is expected, she should be the one to beat.

SABALENKA was a beaten odds-on favourite over this C&D last time. Her debut effort when second over 1200m at the Vaal was eye-catching. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.

STORM AVALANCHE ran a fair race on debut over 1200m at the Vaal. She was reported to be not striding out that day. The daughter of Rafeef would have come on from the run and should make the natural improvement.

Race 3

MOANA made the expected natural improvement when victorious over 1400m at the Vaal last time. She showed speed and lasted long enough. The daughter of New Predator steps up to the mile and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, she can follow up with another victory.

SNAP YOUR FINGERS stayed on when second on debut over 1400m on this course. The daughter of Futura will love the rise to 1600m and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should pose a threat.

LONE HORIZON showed good improvement when winning his last start over 1450m on the Inside course. The son of Heavenly Blue is a progressive type and can follow up.

Race 4

REDLIGHTGREENLIGHT has been facing stronger in his last three starts. It must be noted that the form of his last outing has been franked. The son of Gimmethegreenlight drops in class and has dropped in the ratings. From pole position, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

WAR REPORTER ran a good race when third in his comeback run over 1700m at the Vaal. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He will strip much fitter and Craig Zackey may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

WINDS OF GRACE has finished second in her last four starts. She has won once and finished second once from as many starts over this distance. With a bit of luck in running, she should give the males a run for their money.

Race 5

GOLDEN WARRIOR showed signs of a form return when sixth over 1600m on the Inside course last time. The son of Heavenly Blue takes a drop in class and should get a good run in transit from barrier two. If confirming his recent improvement, he can surprise.

WORLD OF ROYALTY drew off well when winning his last start over this distance on the Vaal Classic course. He received an eight-pound penalty for that victory. Rachel Venniker is booked to ride and takes the 1.5kgs off his back which will assist his cause.

PALACE ATTACK stayed on when fifth over 1600m on the Inside course last time. The son of Potala Palace is dropping in the ratings and can earn another cheque for his patrons.

Race 6

KAMENSKY has good consistent form to his credit. He ran on strongly when second in the Listed Betway Spring Spree Stakes last time. He returns from a lengthy 35-week break. The son of What A Winter has won three times and finished third twice from six starts on this course. Richard Fourie is booked to ride and he can go one better.

SLINKY MAPIMPI is better than his last start as he was reported to be coughing. The 11-week break may have done him the world of good. If putting his best foot forward, he should be involved at the finish.

THE AFRICA HOUSE was outrun late when fourth over 1600m on the Inside course last time. He has won once, finished second once and third twice from seven starts over this C&D. The son of What A Winter must be included in all bets

Race 7

QUICKFREEZE stayed on when third over 1450m on the Inside course last time. It must be noted that Speedman has come out and won again since. The son of Querari should have no issues with the drop to 1160m. He is a horse with ability and if fit, he may be the one to beat.

NIGHT BOMBER ran a good race when second over 1000m on the Vaal Classic course last time. He has won once and finished third twice from four starts on this course. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

PALACE PRINCE stayed on when sixth over 1500m at the Vaal last time. He has won over this C&D previously. The son of Potala Palace will be mowing down the frontrunners.

Race 8

DANTE’S BOND followed up his maiden victory with a good third-place finish over this C&D. He finished 0.5 lengths behind ROCK OF BISMANTOVA that day. He is 3.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He is drawn close to the outside of the track and may be the one to beat.

ROCK OF BISMANTOVA found extra when winning his last start over this C&D. He received a three-pound penalty for that victory. He is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

TURBO POWER stayed on when fourth over 1000m on the Inside course last time. He has finished second twice and third twice from as many starts over this C&D. Richard Fourie rides and the son of Twice Over should be at peak fitness.

Race 9

MRS STORMIATRIX followed up her maiden win with an equally impressive victory over this distance at the Vaal. She received an eight-pound penalty for that victory. The daughter of Vercingetorix meets a similar line-up and she can bring up the hat-trick.

ANGEL’S OASIS finished 1.4 lengths behind BLINDFIRE last time. She is 5.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables be turned.

BLINDFIRE finished 4.2 lengths behind the top selection last time. She is 4kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result
