Winning Form selections for racing from the Vaal on Thursday 25th June where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

Race 1

MOLTEN ROCK has shown improvement in her last two starts. It must be noted that the form of her last outing on this course has been franked. The daughter of Erupt is a progressive type and she can shed her maiden tag.

VISION OF GOLD is an unraced daughter of Gold Standard from the Mike and Mathew de Kock stable with Callan Murray in the saddle. She is related to multiple Grade 1 winner See It Again. If not in need of the experience, she should start her career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her chances.

KWAITO is better than his last start as he was reported to be not striding out. The son of Elusive Fort has scope and should enjoy the rise to 1200m. There should be good improvement to come from him.

Race 2

SNAP YOUR FINGERS did not go on with the effort over 1600m at Turffontein last time. Her debut effort when second over 1400m was encouraging. The daughter of Futura may be ideally suited to this distance and from her good draw of four, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

SAVARA’S PRINCESS has fair recent form to her name. It must be noted that the horse that finished third in her last outing has come out and won since. The 10-week break may have done her the world of good and if fit, she may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

EMPRESS OF PEACE ran a fair race with the blinkers fitted over 1600m on the Turffontein Inside course, two weeks ago. With a bit of luck in running, she can finish in the placings.

Race 3

PERIODIC TABLE has finished second in his three efforts to date. He received a bump leaving the start last time, but stayed on to finish second. The son of Danon Platina will love the rise to 1500m and if getting away to a clean start, he can shed his maiden tag.

TWELFTH OF NEVER challenged strongly over 1800m last time, but found one too good in the form of Pompeii Shield. She drops to 1500m and if not in need of the run, she should pose a massive threat.

HIGHWAY CODE should have finished closer last time as he hung outwards in the final 200m. The 11-week break would have done him the world of good. If keeping on a straight line, he should go close to winning.

Race 4

This is a competitive Merit Rated 66 Handicap and caution is advised. The tentative first selection is GOLDEN ASPEN from the Corne Spies stable. She stayed on when third over 1400m last time. Three of her ten career victories have come on this course. Callan Murray rides and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most.

MICHAEL FARADAY is better than his last start on the Turffontein Inside course. He has won once and finished third once from five starts on this track. On best form shown, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

BAY EMPIRE was caught late when third over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course last time. The son of Fire Away is racing off a competitive rating and merits healthy respect.

Race 5

MOUNT DARWIN was running on too late when second over 1700m last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He has won once and finished second once from as many starts on this course. There is likely to be a solid tempo set up front in this contest and he will be finishing strongly.

ROSY LEMON found one too good in the form of Frangipani last time. She has won once and finished third three times from eight starts over this C&D. Should the top choice fluff his lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.

ITSNOWORNEVER was caught late when second over 1800m on this course last time. He takes a slight rise in class, but is in a good space and cannot be ignored. He is carded to race on 18 June 2026 and his progress in that race will need to be monitored.

Race 6

HEAL AND SOUL returns from a 21-week break and is having his first start for the Mike and Mathew de Kock stable. He produced some good form in the Western Cape. If not in need of this outing, he can go close.

FATHER CHRISTMAS raced from a handy position over 1400m on the Hollywoodbets Greyville polytrack last time and stayed on to finish fourth. He has won once and finished third once from as many starts on this course. He is likely to race on the pace and may be hard to peg back.

NEVER NEVER LAND returns from a 12-week break which would have done him the world of good. He runs well for Gavin Lerena and if fit, he should be competitive.

Race 7

MISS FANTASTIC made the expected natural improvement when winning her last start over 1200m. The manner in which she finished off her race that day was eye-catching. The daughter of Rafeef will love the rise to 1450m. She does take on stronger, but looks to be above average and should be up to the task at hand.

FAIR PROPOSAL stayed on when fourth over 1200m last time. She has won once and finished second once from as many starts over this C&D. Blaine Marx-Jacobson takes the 1.5kgs off her back which will assist her cause. She is one of the leading contenders.

WINDS OF GRACE showed a good turn of foot when winning her last start over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course. She has won once, finished second twice and third twice from as many starts on this course. She is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

Race 8

DUCHESS ZAHRA ran a fair race when fifth over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course last time. The daughter of Rafeef has dropped to a competitive rating and has plenty of scope for improvement. She takes a drop in class and may be the one to side with.

TIME WILL TELL challenged strongly over this C&D last time. He gets the services of 1.5kgs claiming Apprentice Mxolisi Mbuto. Should the top choice fluff her lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

LONELY AS A CLOUD is better than his last start on the Hollywoodbets Greyville polytrack as the jockey reported something to be amiss in running. He is having his peak run today and will be cherry-ripe. On his previous form, he should have a say.

Race 9

LOVABLE was slow into stride over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course last time, but stayed on to finish second. The daughter of Rafeef won her penultimate outing over this C&D. She takes a drop in class and if getting away on terms, she can notch up her third-career victory.

CATFISH was an easy winner of his last start over this C&D. Despite being slow into stride, he showed a good turn of foot and won with a ton in hand. He runs well for Apprentice Blaine Marx-Jacobson and is one of the leading contenders.

BLINDFIRE stayed on when fourth over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course last time. She has won twice, finished second three times and third twice from ten starts over this C&D. She can earn another cheque for her patrons
