STILO NOVO is an unraced son of Master Of My Fate from the Tony Peter yard with Kabelo Matsunyane in the saddle. He does not need to be a stable superstar to win this contest. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to him and the other unraced entrants.

PITERAQ tried hard when second over 1000m on this course. That was her first outing for Trainer Fanie Bronkhorst. The daughter of Hawwaam would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. Muzi Yeni retains the ride and the combination can go one better.
TREASURE STATE ran a fair race in her comeback run over 1000m on this course. She would have come on from the outing and will strip much fitter. She is back against her own sex and with Keagan de Melo in the saddle, she should pose a massive threat.
STEEL AND SATIN is an unraced daughter of Master Of My Fate from the Tony Peter stable with Kabelo Matsunyane in the saddle. She is carded to race on 17 September 2026. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her and the other unraced entrant.

WINTER RAINFALL was not beaten far when fourth in the Non-Black Type Betway The Lady’s Stakes last time. She was slow into stride but stayed on nicely at the business end. The daughter of What A Winter has finished second once and third once from as many starts over this distance. She is having her peak effort and can notch up her third-career victory.
LOST FOR WORDS has consistent form to her name. She takes a slight drop in class this afternoon. She is carded to race on 19 September 2026 and her progress in that race will need to be monitored.
FIRE IN HER SOUL finished 0.95 lengths behind BEAUTIFUL RANIA in her penultimate run. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough to turn the form around.
Race 4
BE THE ONE tried hard when second over 1450m on the Turffontein Inside course last time, but found one too good in the form of Celtic Manor. The daughter of Futura is a progressive individual. She meets the right field and should take a power of beating.
GIDDY UP GRACE was in need of her local debut over 1200m on the Turffontein Inside course. She has finished second twice and third once from as many starts over this distance. She is carded to race on 17 September 2026 and her progress in that race will need to be monitored.
JET PLATINO was in need of his debut effort over 1200m on the Turffontein Inside course. He would have gained from the experience and will love the rise to 1600m. With the natural improvement that is expected, he can finish in the placings.
Race 5
ONE EYE ON DUBAI made the expected natural improvement when second over 1700m on this course last time. He set the pace, tried hard but found one too good in the form of Imyourhuckleberry. The imported son of Almanzor is a progressive type and will love the rise to 2000m. He should get his own way in front once again and can go one better.
CLAIRWOOD BREEZE is having his first outing for the Paul Matchett stable. He found one too good in the form of Disdain last time. He may be ideally suited to this distance and should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.
SIVAJI finished 2.25 lengths behind the second selection last time. He is 2.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may battle to turn the form around.
Race 6
BELLEROPHON was an easy winner of his last start over 2800m on this course. He won his only attempt over this C&D, four runs ago. The son of Vercingetorix is in a good space and with just 51kgs on his back, he can follow up with another victory.
DEEPONE was in need of his South African debut over 1600m at Turffontein. The son of Study Of Man is bred to love the rise to 2400m. He would have come on from the outing and despite giving away weight to the rest of the field, he should show massive improvement.
POSITIVE ATTITUDE stayed on when third over this C&D last time. He does take on stronger, but carries a light mass and can finish in the placings.
Race 7
BOUNDLESS LOVE set the pace over 1800m on this course last time before getting outrun late by Diwali Rocket. Two of his four career victories have come over this distance. Chase Maujean knows him well and the combination may return to winning ways.
PALACE ATTACK fought hard for his last victory over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course. He has won once and finished second once from as many starts on this course. Gavin Lerena retains the ride and the pair merit healthy respect.
AINT NO DOUBT has finished second in his last two starts, the latest of which was over 1500m on the Turffontein Inside course. ME AND YOU is a progressive daughter of Querari from the Michael Azzie stable. She showed a good turn of foot when shedding her maiden tag over 1600m on the Turffontein Inside course last time. She returns from a well-deserved 10-week break. She does take on stronger, but has plenty of scope and should be up to the task at hand.
EIGHT HATS ran a good race when third over 1700m on this course last time. The daughter of Hat Puntano is in a good space and should produce another honest performance.
SECRET LIFE finished 4.85 lengths behind the second selection last time. She is 4.5kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result. She is likely to race on the pace and may be hard to peg back
