Monday night's English Premier League action sees West Ham take on Newcastle, the hosts are looking for a third straight win and the visitors are bidding to climb into the top 6.
West Ham
West Ham are down in 16th position but with 33 points they already look safe. They have won their last 2 matches, 1-0 at Arsenal and 2-0 at home to Leicester and another victory here would see them move up to 13th. Their overall home record is nothing special, 5 wins, 2 draws and 7 defeats with 18 goals scored and 27 conceded.
Team news suggests Lucas Paqueta and Vladimir Coufal are close to a return to action after injury.
Newcastle
After the weekend results Newcastle slipped to ninth but victory here would take them back up to sixth, level on points with fifth placed Manchester City. They have lost 3 of their last 4 in the league, most recently going down 2-0 at Liverpool. They also exited the FA Cup, losing a shoot out at home to Brighton but at the weekend they will take on Liverpool in the EFL Cup Final. Newcastle lost the first league meeting with West Ham w2-0 back in November. Away from home in the EPL they have won 6, drawn 3 and lost 5, scoring 22 goals and conceding 21.
On the team news front Lewis Hall is out for the season and Anthony Gordon is suspended.
The Betting
West Ham are 22/10, the draw is also 5/2 and Newcastle are currently trading at 12/10
A game of 3 goals or more in total is 8/11 and it's 0.63/1 for both teams to score.

The Verdict
Newcastle are still in the mix to qualify for the UCL next season but they have been vulnerable of late and West Ham should take plenty from those 2 recent wins.
I quite fancy a home win and for a goalscorer Evan Ferguson gets the vote
