RACE 1

GREENLIGHT DANCER hails from the visiting Justin Snaith stable. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight has been disappointing to date. She carries a handy galloping mass of 55.5kgs and jumps from a good draw of two. Richard Fourie is booked to ride and if suited to the surface, she can improve to win a race of this nature.

SON OF ERUPT showed good improvement in his local debut over 1400m on this course. The manner in which he finished off his race that day was encouraging. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth has come out and won since. He drops to 1300m and the blinkers should sharpen him up. With a bit of luck from the widest draw, he would not be a shock winner.

HOUSE OF SUSSEX ran a fair race over this C&D last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished third has come out and won since. There should be more to come from the son of The United States.

RACE 2

SWEET CAKE moved up well in her last start over this distance on the turf, but found one too good in the form of Three Cheers. The daughter of Skitt Skizzle tries the polytrack for the first time which should suit her well. She meets the right field and may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

AUDACIOUS finished 4 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and she may have to settle for the same result. She is likely to race on the speed from pole position and may be hard to peg back.

MILLION REASONS is better than her last start in the Listed Lady’s Slipper Stakes. She returns from a 17-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. On her best form shown, it would be no surprise to see her win a race of this nature.

RACE 3

RAVILIOUS has shown good signs of a form return in his last two starts. He showed good speed over this distance on the turf last time, but was outrun late. The son of Global View finished second in his only attempt over this C&D. He is the best-weighted runner in this contest and from his good draw of four, he may be hard to peg back.

TRAVEL MASTER set the pace over 1400m last time, fought hard but found one too good in the form of Holocene. The 7yo gelding is having his peak run today and will be cherry-ripe. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

CHARLIE MALONE finished 0.5 lengths behind SWISS WALT last time. He is 1kg better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

RACE 4

ON MY HONOUR hails from the visiting Glen Kotzen stable. He made the expected natural improvement when winning his maiden over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. The son of Gimmethegreenlight is a progressive type and should love the rise to the mile. If suited to the polytrack, he should be a big runner.

GLOBAL STATE is better than his last start in the Listed Champion Juvenile Cup. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The son of Global View is well-weighted and he is one of the leading contenders.

AMAZING COLOURS is a filly taking on the males. She showed good improvement when second over this C&D last time. She raced from a handy position, fought hard but found one too good in the form of As Fate Has It. Luyolo Mxothwa steps back into the saddle and she can feature.

Race 5

MASKED VIGILANTE fought hard for his last victory over 1300m on this course. He received a two-pound penalty for that victory. The 6-year-old gelding is in a good space and he can notch up his sixth-career victory.

DONNY TEE finished 1.25 lengths behind TUSCAN GOLD last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. Should the top selection fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

TUSCAN GOLD set the pace over this C&D last time and found another kick to keep all challengers at bay. He has won twice and finished third once from four starts over this C&D. Calvin Habib is likely to adopt the same tactics and he should be hard to peg back.

Race 6

EYJAFJALLAJOKULL should have won his last start over 1300m as he was given a soft ride and got going late. He finished 0.05 lengths behind SILVER TYCOON in his penultimate run and is 1kg better off at the weights. That should be enough for the tables to be turned. He is likely to race from a prominent position from draw one and can notch up his third-career victory.

SILVER TYCOON was given a peach of a ride when winning his last start over this C&D. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. He is in a good space and can follow up with another victory.

GUERRA rallied late when third over 1600m on this course last time. The son of Lancaster Bomber costs himself winning as he hangs in the closing stages. If Richard Fourie is able to keep him on a straight line, he can return to winning ways.

RACE 7

HAPPY HOLLY was not disgraced when third in the Grade 2 World Pool With Gold Circle Debutante at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. She finished second in her three runs prior to that outing. The daughter of Heavenly Blue clearly has class about her. If suited to the polytrack, she should find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

PROTECT THE DREAM hails from the visiting Justin Snaith stable. She followed up her maiden victory with a good third-place finish over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. Her pilot lost his crop at the 150m mark that day. The daughter of Querari carries a handy galloping mass of 54kgs and she should go close.

YOU WIN AGAIN is a winner of her last three starts on this course. She returns from a well-deserved 12-week break. If not in need of this outing, she should be involved in the fight to the finish.

RACE 8

SILVER FALCON showed good speed over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time, but was outrun late by Questioning. He finished 0.75 lengths behind KING REGENT in his penultimate start. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. The son of Silvano won his only attempt over this C&D. With a bit of luck from the widest draw, he should be the one to beat.

KING REGENT was an easy winner of the Non-Black Type Nelson Mandela Bay Poly Challenge 1200 last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He is at his best over shorter, but is in a good space and cannot be ignored.

LUNA HALO set the pace over 1600m on the turf last time and stayed on to finish third. The daughter of Fire Away is unbeaten from three starts on this course. Her best form has been under Richard Fourie and she should give the males a run for their money.

Race 9

SUCHALIFE has not been beaten far in her last two starts. She raced from a handy position over 1600m on the turf last time and stayed on at the finish. The daughter of Global View won her maiden over this C&D, four runs ago. With a bit of luck in running, she may be the one to beat.

HANGING ROCK has been taking on stronger company in her last two starts. She has won once and finished third once from three starts over this C&D. She drops in class and with Richard Fourie back in the saddle, she can find a form return.

FLOWER FESTIVAL is a winner of her last two starts, the latest of which was over this C&D. She does take on stronger but from pole position, she can bring up the hat-trick
