Full credit to The Conductor for delivering Connacht (-5.5) to us last week and extending a nice winning run. Unfortunately our 11/1 ACCA fell just short with Harlequins only beating Castres by 2 points in the final leg while we were on the (-2.5).
On a personal note I was having a good rugby weekend until that Harlequins game where I got greedy and fired a big bet on to Quins over 25.5.
This will be our last newsletter for 2021 and it certainly feels as though it has been a successful year, but the proof is in the pudding and I will be doing a recon over the next couple of weeks to see just how we ended.
Last night was also our last edition of THE HANDICAP and the big guns were rolled out with @ThoughtsOnSports and The Conductor joining me to talk about the weekend’s Heineken Cup rugby action. It must be pointed out that team news can play a huge role in this Tournament and some punters will certainly prefer to wait until the teams are announced before getting involved.
I enjoy the speculation and trying to second guess the selections though and it is always a nice feeling when the line moves in your favour.

Both panelists were bullish on Sale last night and based on their arguments they are shaping up as a Best Bet. They actually cost me money last week when I had an overs double ending on their points at 22.5 (only for them not to score a point in the 2nd half to end on 21) but they will surely push for the bonus point this week and there must be a chance Clermont have mentally thrown in the towel. Clermont also lost players to Covid last week so I am not sure what sort of a team they will put out.
