The 3rd and deciding ODI between South Africa and Bangladesh takes place at Centurion on Wednesday and we take a look at the betting in this day/night encounter and make a few selections which we hope will trouble the bookmakers.
The series returns to Centurion where Bangladesh were victorious in the 1st ODI. South Africa elected to field first sending Bangladesh in and the visitors knocked up an impressive 314 for 7 in their 50 overs with contributions all the way down the order supporting top scorer Shakib Al Hassan who made 77 off just 64 balls. The South Africans split the wickets amongst them and all of the bowlers went for over 5.5 runs an over.
South Africa were then bowled out for 276 with Rassie van der Dussen top scoring with 86 and David Miller giving South Africa hope with a quick fire 79. Mehidy Hasan Miraz with 4 for 61 was the pick of the bowlers alongside Taskin Ahmed who got 3 for 36 in his 10 overs with a spell of bowling that really broke the back of the South African innings.
The 2nd ODI in Johannesburg on Sunday was a very different encounter as Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bat first. They could only muster 194 for 9 with only Afif Hossain with 72 getting heavily amongst the runs. Kagiso Rabada was on top form with 5 for 39 in his 10 overs.
The Proteas chased the runs down with 7 wickets and over 12 overs in hand and the foundation for the victory was laid with a brilliant start from Quinton de Kock who got 62 off just 41 balls.

South Africa 1/5
Bangladesh 7/2
SUGGESTED BETS:
Bangladesh win at 7/2
Bangladesh looked like they were playing at home in the 1st ODI they had so much support at the ground and although the Proteas bounced back with an emphatic win in the 2nd ODI, I just can’t ignore the fact that this 7/2 represents great value about a side that has been playing some good ODI cricket in recent years.
A 100 to be scored in the match, YES, at 17/20
The Centurion pitch looked like it had plenty of runs in it last time out and I fancy one of the top order from either of the sides will kick on for a big score.
Top Home Batsman, Temba Bavuma at 4/1
I am looking for Bavuma to get in early and play an anchor role as the others bat around him and think the 4/1 is a fair price.
