engodiAfter turning England over in the test series WIndies start their bid to follow up in the 50 over format when the first ODI takes place in Barbados on Wednesday.

WIndies won the first 2 matches of the test series by margins of 381 runs and then 10 wickets. England did win the final test, salvaging some pride with a 232 run victory and the teams now move onto the ODI’s. It’s a 5 match series with the first 2 games staged in Barbados, 2 more in Grenada and we finish up in St. Lucia. England start as favourites in the outright series win market, currently trading at 2/9 with WIndies a 7/2 chance. Click here for the outright series markets.

Verdict:

WIndies will take plenty from the test series victory but England are much more consistent in this format and it will take a very decent effort to beat them.

I like Hetmyer a lot and if the top order fail he could pop up as top bat for the hosts at a nice price. I’ll also take a speculative play in the top home bowler market. It looks competitive but Kemar Roach took 5 first innings wickets when the teams met in the test series at this venue and he could be the right one here.

Bets: Top home bat Hetmyer at 11/2

Top home bowler Roach at 7/2 BET HERE
