Our featured Africa Cup of Nations clash on Saturday sees Tunisia take on Mali in Group E and both these nations encountered contrasting fortunes in their opening matches.

Tunisia

Tunisia started as favourites for their opening match against Namibia, trading in the region of 4/10 but they fluffed their lines, going down 1-0 in the 88^th minute. Mali could be dark horse material and they started well enough with a 2-0 win over South Africa. Bafana missed a first half penalty and Mali made them pay with second half goals in the space of 6 minutes from Hamari Traore and Lassine Sinayoko to out the game to bed. Anything from this game would likely be enough for Mali to go through to the last 16 but they will want to kick on at the top of the group ahead of their clash with Namibia.

Verdict:

These teams met in the AFCON group stage 2 years ago and Mali won it 1-0. Looking at the head to heads there is a history of tight matches but Mali's opening game against Bafana saw a fair amount of chances created and it looks a tricky call.

The half time draw is a tentative choice.
