newsletterThe latest Goodforthegame newsletter penned by @BrentGraham with best bets for the weekend of 11th to 13th December

A nice win for the Newsletter Best Bet last week with the Lions (+3.5) arriving as they came from behind to beat Western Province at Ellis Park.

It was a quiet sports betting weekend for me as I was involved in our year-end Poker tournament and I am pleased to announce that I came out on top amongst the 16 players to claim the Trophy and some handy prize money.  More on the poker in my Citizen Blog “Profits flow at the Poker Table” - Powered by Playabets

ANYBODY FOR HEINEKEN?
International Rugby may be done and dusted, but the Heineken Champions Cup starts this weekend and there were plenty of matches to chat about on last night’s edition of THE HANDICAP “Rugby Chat that Matters”.

There were also the 3 Currie Cup games to get through and I was joined in studio by @theCRowetips and @CLRugby  and just a word of caution is that team news can still play a major influence on the betting in the Champions Cup so but keep an eye on the Goodforthegame Forum for more during the course of the weekend.

NEWCASTLE TO PUNISH WEST BROM
I am battling to find anything that really stands out in the rugby and in a rare move am going to highlight a football bet.
I was looking over the EPL fixtures and expected Newcastle to be odd-on at home to West Brom. Newcastle are not exactly flying but they beat Palace 2-0 on the road last time out while West Brom lost to the same opposition 5-1 at home.
West Brom have only taken 1 point in 5 away games and I simply have to have a go at this one

BET: 3 units Newcastle win at 1.27/1 at Gbets
