After points flowed in the Chiefs v Reds game last week I was feeling pretty low to say the least. I was contemplating a lengthy layoff but at the same time was keeping my eye on the 12/1 acca hoping it would save the day.
One by one I ticked the legs off and when Glasgow beat the handicap against the Stormers to land it I felt more relief than joy. I have had bigger wins for sure but the pressure on that game was immense and it was great to break what had been an almost unprecedented tough run.
On we march and I got off to a nice start with the Blues minus delivering this morning although it was more of a sweat than it needed to be.
We only have 3 more rugby games this weekend but there is so much excellent sport on including the US Open Golf and Euro 2024.

STACKED LEINSTER TO PUT BULLS TO BED
The Bulls v Leinster clash at Loftus tomorrow is the match of the weekend for me. It is rare that a full strength overseas team visits these shores but with a final berth up for grabs there is no holding back and Leinster have named a strong team.
The Bulls pack looks strong but their backline looks a bit vulnerable to me.
The handicap was bouncing between +4.5 and +5.5 all week and although all the boys in the live chat are on Leinster, Nathan did point out that someone must be backing the Bulls.
I think Leinster will be too strong though (full preview here) and am taking the minus.
