cashThe latest Goodforthegame newsletter penned by @BrentGraham with best bets for the weekend 26th to 28th July including the Olympic Games

Last weekend was up and down for me on the rugby front but sadly more down than up and the newsletter alternative acca missing by a point in the Aussie game cut deep.
They had ample time to score another try and were camped in the Georgian half but that kick dead from a penalty was the crushing blow as was Nic Whites lack of ambition at the end.

THE HANDICAP
This week we only have 4 Currie Cup games and it was great to catch up with my old mate The Oracle on last nights show

OLYMPICS 2024
I always enjoy the Olympics and it is great to see guys posting bets in the Olympic thread on the forum – click here to see the latest bets

The Blitzboks are in action in an unlikely semifinal in the 7’s tomorrow morning and are +5.5 and I am sure the lads will have some punts

WEEKEND PLAYS

Mens Mountain Bike
One Olympic event I am looking really looking forward to is the mens Mountain Bike on Sunday where Alan Hatherly from South Africa ranks a genuine medal shout in my opinion.
He has had a consistent season and recently got his first win on the World Tour. Admittedly he meets stronger here Pidcock is the 1/4 favourite) but at just shy of 5/1 for a podium he looks worth an interest.

BET: 1 unit Hatherly Top 3 at 49/10 at Boylesports*

Currie Cup
The 1st game is Griffons v Cheetahs at 15h00 today and all bets will be posted in this Blog.
The handicap is huge at 46.5 but Gee Gee points out in the forum that the Cheetahs have made a host of changes. The Griffons are awful but they have scored 20 in Bloem and 15 last week against WP in heavy defeats so surely 13 points from the Purple People Eaters is not too much to ask.

BET: 5 units Griffons o12.5 points at 17/20 at WSB
Note the preview pick was at just under 11/10 at Boyles but that shortened soon after the blog was updated.

There is not a lot on to make up an acca this weekend and I am waiting for points in the Lions, Bulls and Pumas games so that is it for now.

Have a great weekend!
