CCSharks21The latest Goodforthegame newsletter penned by @BrentGraham with best bets for the weekend 9th to 11th August including the Rugby Championship and a 12/1 acca with @WorldSsportsBet

The overs delivered in some style in the Pumas v Sharks game last week and it looks as though the bookies are coming out later and later with points lines in the Currie Cup to avoid a good old fashioned Goodforthegame pounding!

OLYMPICS TEAM ON FIRE
Before I get going a huge shout out to Southpaw, Naidoo and the lads contributing to the Olympic Betting Thread in the forum – last nights 12/1 win on Tebogo in the 200m was one of many well priced winners and of course we still have a few days to go.

THE HANDICAP
The Rugby Championships starts on Saturday and I had The Crowe Tips and The Oracle on last nights show.

You may have been mistaken for thinking it was a Biz News video early on as the Oracle totally unprompted set about outlining his retirement plan – there will be more on this in the weeks ahead no doubt but if you want to jump straight to the rugby here are some short cuts

Jump to Australia v SA
Jump to New Zealand v Argentina
Jump to the Currie Cup

WEEKEND PLAYS

Sharks to frank the form
Battle hardened punters such as yours truly have plenty of Sharks inflicted scars on them but like a lab rat I am going in again this weekend.
I handicapped the Sharks -13.5 at home to Griquas and was shocked when the line opened -5.5.

Here is an extract from my weekly blog where all Currie Cup bets will be posted

“It is dangerous to read too much into Currie Cup form but in their last 2 games the Sharks have beaten the Lions by 13 on the road and drew 44-44 to the Pumas away. The Griquas have lost to the Lions by 8 points at home and went down by 40 points to the Pumas.”
The line has moved to -6.5 in places but there is still -5.5 on offer – I reckon this goes out to double figures.

BET: 6 units Sharks -5.5 at 9/10 at Hollywoodbets*

Aussies and Kiwis to fly out the blocks
Mondo made a post in the forum earlier in the week which caught my eye. He fancies the Aussies in the Race to 10 points against the Boks and New Zealand to have a big 1st half
I like his thinking and am taking a “Quick Start Double”

Australia “Race to 10 Points” at 16/10
onto
New Zealand -7.5 HT handicap at 10/11

BET: 2 units at 3.96/1 at Sportingbet*
