Liverpool vs West Ham:

It’s second vs fifth in a massive clash at Anfield on Sunday morning as Liverpool host West Ham. The Reds dispatched Leeds with a 6-0 win in their last outing, while West Ham picked up a crucial 1-0 win over Wolves to keep themselves in the mix for a top four position. Liverpool are in red hot form, winning six consecutive games to surge back into the title race.

Liverpool’s dynamic attack has gotten to work in the six game winning streak, with the Reds having an aggregate score of 18-2 across those six games. Liverpool are the highest scoring team in the Premier League this season with 70 goals this season, six more goals than second ranked Man City, who have played an extra game. It’s going to be a tough ask for West Ham trying to contain an attack that has the Premier League’s top three goal scorers in Mo Salah (19), Diogo Jota (12) and Sadio Mane (11). Liverpool also have the top three assist getters in the league with Mo Salah (10), Trent Alexander-Arnold (10) and Andy Robertson (9).

Liverpool have had the wood over West Ham, with a 8-1-1 record in their last ten Premier League matches against the Hammers, both sides are amongst the best attacking teams in the Premier League, so there won't be a shortage of goals in this clash. With the Reds needing to win to stay in the title race, expect a big performance from one of the most in form teams in Europe.

Bets:

Total goals (3.5) over: 2.30

Both teams to score: yes: 1.88

Salah to score first (Liverpool FC): 3.55

Watford vs Arsenal:

This clash has massive bearings on the top four and relegation battles, as Arsenal travel to Vicarage Road to take on Watford. Watford picked up a crucial point against Manchester United, which keeps them just three points away from safety. The Gunners came from a behind win against the Wolves last week and left them two points behind fourth placed Manchester United, with three games in hand on the Red Devils.

Arsenal keep finding a way to grind results out, with a 7-1-1 record from their last nine games, with their only loss coming to Manchester City. Watford have found life much more difficult, with a 1-3-10 record from their last fourteen games. Watford have been awful at both ends of the pitch ranking 17th for goals scored (25) and 18th for goals conceded (47).

Watford have struggled against Arsenal since 2018, with a 0-1-5 record in their last six Premier League fixtures against the Gunners. With Manchester United playing Manchester City this weekend, it is a golden opportunity for Arsenal to jump into the top four and they won’t miss out against Watford.

Bets:

Exact score 0:2: 6.85

Watford to score: no: 2.06

Arsenal and total 1.5 over: 1.85

Manchester City vs Manchester United:

The second Manchester Derby of the ‘21/’22 season sees Manchester City looking to keep second placed Liverpool at bay, and Manchester United clinging onto fourth spot. The league leaders got back on the winner list with a controversial 1-0 win over Everton last week, while the Red Devils dropped points in a disappointing 0-0 draw against Watford at home.

Although United are undefeated in their last eight games, draws against Watford, Southampton and Burnley in their last five games have hampered their top four aspirations. City’s balance in defence and attack has been outstanding this season, having the number one ranked defence conceding only 17 goals and number two ranked attack having scored 64 goals. United have struggled to break down some poor teams across the last month, and they're going to have a nightmare trying to penetrate City's back four.

The Red Devils have struggled badly against the best teams in the Premier League this season. In three games against the top three sides United has a 1-8 aggregate score, picking up one of a possible nine points. It’s difficult to see United overcoming their crosstown rivals given the way they’ve played of late, and their defence could get opened up by the league leaders. City to beat Manchester United should be a safe bet.

Bets:

Manchester City to win: 1.45

Exact score 3:1: 11.00

Manchester City (2.5) over: 2.33
