Brighton host Liverpool in the first of Saturday's English Premier League matches and the preview and tips come from BetOlimp.
Brighton vs. Liverpool
Albion have lost their last four games and have managed just one goal during that run. They did make a game of it at Newcastle last weekend after conceding two early goals, but a lack of quality in front of goal saw them miss out on a share of the points. The Seagulls have failed to score in three of their last four games and in each of their last two at the Amex Stadium.
Liverpool have managed five clean sheets in their last seven Premier League games, all wins, and they have conceded just once in their last five games on their travels in all competitions. Brighton do have a good record against the Reds and managed a 2-2 draw at Anfield earlier in the season. However, Graeme Potter’s men have little to play for as their four-game losing run has ended any lingering hopes of a late push for Europe and with 33 points on the board they have probably already done enough to avoid the drop. In contrast, Liverpool are involved in a battle for the title and will be keen to respond to that defeat at home to Inter in midweek, even if they did win the tie.
Sadio Mane has scored in each of his last three Premier League appearances, hitting four in total during that time. The Senegal international scored in the reverse fixture and can cause Brighton problems again on Saturday with a goal at any time at the Amex Stadium.
