And then there were two… The Sydney Sixers and the Perth Scorchers are the teams who have earned the right to battle for BBL10 glory at the SCG.

With James Roy missing the Scorchers couldn’t have asked for a better time for Liam Livingstone to hit his straps. The overseas pro played a dominant hand as Perth cruised to a total of 189 with only one casualty. This type of performance would however not have scared the Sixers all that much as the men in pink booked their final berth against these same opponents by also cruising to a nine-wicket victory. James Vince and Josh Philippe are both in sparkling form at present.
The men from the West have some big power players to the tune of Livingstone, Munro and Mitch Marsh but the Sydney side have scraped incredibly well all season. If pushed I would back the home side to get the job done here but will rather just back a Sixers player in the Man of the Match market.

Top Scorchers Batsman – AJ Turner @ 10.00
Turner only strides in at number six and hasn’t been called on to perform too often thus far. In a final where the stakes are high it wouldn’t surprise me to see the lower order pitch up and play a vital role. At this price I am happy to get involved.
Top Sixers Bowler – SNJ O’Keefe @ 4.50
The spinner has been consistently tidy and I am expecting the international to put his hand up.
Man of the Match – DT Christian @ 11.00
As mentioned above the lower order could be called on to play the decisive hand which tilts the game. I have backed the fighting spirit of Christian before and I will do so again for one last time. Against the Melbourne Stars the all-rounder smashed 49 off 23 balls to seal the win in the last over.
