No joy last week and we remain stuck on 5 successful trebles, now from 19 attempts. It's been tough going since the re-start but some good strikes earlier in the season would see you in front over the course of the campaign to level stakes. We stick with the same match result, over 2.5 goals and both teams to score format for Sunday's fixtures and the odds have been boosted to 7.00. Let's see if we can end the season with a winner..!!
Leg 1 v Everton v Bournemouth
Everton are set for a mid table finish and their season run in has been pretty tame but a 1-0 win away to Sheffield United last time out suggests they will want to end on a high note.
For Bournemouth its a different story. They kick off second from bottom and their only chance of survival is to win here and hope that other results go their way. The win or bust circumstances for the visitors suggest goals are on the cards. It's a tall order for Eddie Howe and his side and regardless of whether they pull off a great escape we expect goals here.
Prediction: Over 2.5 goals
Leg 2 Leicester v Manchester United
This game will get top billing for many people with Champions League football next season at stake. Leicester really need to win it to get back into the top 4 although a draw would suffice if Chelsea were to lose at home to Wolves.
For United, who come into the game in third place, 1 point better off than Leicester and ahead of Chelsea on goal difference a draw will suffice whilst defeat would leave them sweating on the outcome of the game at Stamford Bridge.
There is no doubt the visitors are in the better form right now but the stats and recent results could go out of the window given the prize at stake. We see goals for both sides.
Prediction: Both teams to score
Leg 3 Southampton v Sheffield United
Southampton will finish just below half way in the standings but they have caught the eye since the restart with some terrific performances, losing just 1 of their last 8 and they beat Manchester City 1-0 in a recent home fixture.
Sheffield have had an amazing season and opposing them has been an expensive habit for the bulk of the campaign. However, they have lost their last 2 matches without scoring a goal and just maybe they are running out of steam.
The momentum is with the Saints and for our match result pick we look for a home win.
Prediction: Southampton Win
