ARSENAL v NORWICH – Click Here to bet

Arsenal bounced back from defeats away to Manchester City and Brighton to beat Southampton 2-0 on the road last week. The result leaves them in 9th place on the log. This will be their first home game since the COVID-19 break and going into the break they won 3 matches in succession at home.

Norwich are rock bottom of the table and 6 points off second from bottom, Aston Villa and they have yet to score a goal since the EPL resumed, losing 3-0 at home to Southampton and 1-0 at home to Everton. They have had just one win on the road this season.

Betting

Arsenal 9/20

Draw 37/10

Norwich 6/1

Suggested Bet: Handicap, Arsenal (-1) at 23/20

Norwich looks like a team that has virtually accepted their fate of relegation while Arsenal have now won 2 matches in a row including the FA Cup encounter on the weekend and I am backing Arsenal to win this by more than a goal.

EVERTON V LEICESTERClick Here to bet

Everton are 12th on the table having taken 4 points from a possible 6 since action resumed after the COVID-19 break. They drew 0-0 at home to Liverpool and then edged Norwich 1-0 on the road. Everton home games have been fairly low scoring with 10 out of the 15 matches delivering for under 2.5 goal backers.

Leicester are 3rd on the table, but have Chelsea breathing down their necks having just drawn the 2 games since play resumed. They played to a 1-1 draw at Watford and then to a goalless draw at home to Brighton. 8 of Leicester’s 15 away matches have had 3 goals or more in them, but the last 3 they played have failed to deliver for overs backers.

Betting

Everton 31/20

Draw 23/10

Leicester 19/10

Suggested Bet: The draw at 23/10

The betting suggested that this should be a tight game and I agree as it doesn’t look to be much between the sides. I also suspect a low scoring clash is on the cards and under 2.5 goals is trading at 15/20.

BOURNEMOUTH V NEWCASTLE UNITED - Click Here to bet

Bournemouth are 18th on the table and filling the final relegation spot and since returning to action they have lost 2-0 at home to Crystal Palace and 1-0 on the road at Wolves. Overall they have now lost 5 out of their last 6 matches in the League with the other match being drawn.

Newcastle have taken 4 points from a possible 6 in their last 2 games, beating Sheffield United 3-0 at home and drawing 1-1 at home to Aston Villa. They sit 14th on the table and certain of another season of Premier League action.

Betting

Bournemouth 14/10

Draw 43/20

Newcastle 9/4

Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 13/10

This price looks tempting especially when you look at the head-to-head record between the sides where this bet would have arrived in the last 4 meetings.

WEST HAM V CHELSEA– Click Here to bet

West Ham sit in 17th position and just outside the relegation zone on goal difference. They have only won 1 of their last 10 EPL matches and their last 2 games has seen them lose 2-0 at home to Wolves and 2-0 away to Tottenham. They face a Chelsea side that has won both their games since play resumed, beating Aston Villa 2-1 away and Manchester City 2-1 at home. Chelsea have been strong on the road this season losing only 4 times in 15 starts and they will be looking to get revenge on West Ham who beat them 1-0 at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season.

Betting

West Ham 9/2

Draw 13/4

Chelsea 6/10

Suggested Bet: Handicap, Chelsea (-1) at 15/10

West Ham have a decent home record against Chelsea, but I have been very impressed by the way Chelsea are playing and by contrast West Ham look like a side who are going to struggle to avoid relegation.
