BettingDiaryThe Sochi Autodrom is the venue for this weekend’s Russian Grand Prix and all eyes will be on Lewis Hamilton as he bids to equal Michael Schumacher’s Formula 1 win record of 91.

There was plenty of excitement in the last two Grand Prix’s, the Italian and the Tuscan GP’s, but after massive shocks in the Italian Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton did restore order in the Tuscany Grand Prix with a first place finish ahead of his teammate, Bottas who would have been disappointed not to win. That result leaves Hamilton 55 points ahead of Bottas in the Outright Standings and the bookies have basically closed up shop as far as the Outright Betting markets go. Third last week was Alexander Albon with Daniel Ricciardo just missing the podium.

Lewis Hamilton has an excellent record in Russia winning 4 of the last 6 Grand Prix’s including winning the last 2 and Bottas won here in 2017 so the Mercedes clearly love the track.

Charles Leclerc chased Mercedes home in his Ferrari to complete the podium in last year’s edition.

RUSSIAN GRAND PRIXClick here to bet

Lewis Hamilton 5/10

Valtteri Bottas 3/1

Max Verstappen 6/1

50/1 and better the balance

SUGGESTED BET: Top 6 finish, Lando Norris at 19/10

Norris finished just outside the Top 6 here last season coming in 8th, but it his recent form that catches the eye with 3 Top 6’s in his last 6 starts including his last 2 starts so the 19/10 looks good value.

As far as the race winner goes it is hard to look past Lewis Hamilton and if you are going to back him World Sports Betting is the place to do it as you can get the money back insurance for 2nd place, see details on the banner below.
