SATURDAY

KAIZER CHIEFS v MAMELODI SUNDOWNS – Click here to bet

Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs were away to Cape Town City in their quarter-final match and the bookmakers could not separate the sides. Cape Town City took the lead in the 23rd minute, but Chiefs hit back in the 36th to take the match into the sheds at 1-1. The match looked to be heading to a draw when Chiefs popped up with a winner deep into injury time.

Chiefs made a slow start to their PSL campaign, but have hit some form with back-to-back wins 3-0 at home to AmaZulu and 2-0 away at Stellenbosch where there was 2/1 on offer about their winning the match.

Sundowns

Mamelodi Sundowns were 1/4 favourites to see off Swallows in their quarter-final encounter and they put in a workmanlike performance winning 1-0 thanks to a 48th minute strike from Themba Zwane.

Sundowns are absolutely flying in the League with a 100% record after 6 matches and on Wednesday night it was Polokwane who felt their wrath with Sundowns winning 2-0 on the road.

Sundowns haven't conceded a goal in their last 5 games across all competitions dating back to the Cup match against Swallows.

These sides met in the League earlier this season with Sundowns winning 2-1 at home.

Prediction

Sundowns are 12/10 favourites to win in the 90 with the draw on offer at 21/10, but I am going to stick my neck out here and call a Kaizer Chiefs win inside the 90 minutes at 9/4. Chiefs have a much lighter schedule than Sundowns this season and I am expecting them to throw everything into this match.

Suggested Bet: Kaizer Chiefs win at 9/4

SUNDAY

STELLENBOSCH v ORLANDO PIRATES – Click here to bet

Stellenbosch

Stellenbosch were underdogs in their quarter-final clash away at SuperSport United, but after the game finished goalless in regulation time it was Stellenbosch who popped up with a 99th minute winner to take them through to the last 4.

Stellenbosch have been a mixed bag in the League and they have lost their last 2 games at home to Chiefs and SuperSport United.

Pirates

Orlando Pirates were the most convincing winners of their quarter-final clash with a 5-0 thumping of Sekhukhune. They only led 1-0 at the break, but 4 second-half goals including a hat-trick strike by Zakhele Lepasa in the 87th minute saw them comfortably home.

Pirates justified 17/20 favouritism when they beat Cape Town City 2-0 at home on Tuesday night and they are undefeated in their last 6 matches across all competitions.

These sides met in the League earlier this season with Stellenbosch winning 1-0 at home.

Prediction

The betting on this game mirrors the first semi-final and Stellenbosch are the 9/4 underdogs at home with the draw 21/10 and Pirates 12/10.

I have been following this Pirates side closely and they are playing some excellent football at the moment and I think they can get this win inside the 90 minutes.

Suggested Bet: Orlando Pirates win at 12/10

There are plenty of other markets on offer in each of the matches and there will also be in-running betting during the game.
