BettingDiaryA round up of the betting for the major sporting events taking place on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th June featuring Super Rugby, Cricket World Cup, Euro 2020 and Womens World Cup football, French Open tennis, South African horse racing, the Canadian Grand Prix and Boxing

Super Rugby

There are five Super Rugby matches on Saturday’s coupon, the first of which sees the Crusaders bid to secure top spot in the overall standings in their home fixture against the Rebels. The Saders are 18.5 point favourites on the handicap and the 9/10 about the home side to lead by 10 points or more at half time caught our attention.

The Waratahs start as slight favourites for their derby at home to the in form Brumbies. The Tahs are bidding to stay alive in the play offs and the Brumbies are looking to seal top position in the Australian Conference in what should be a tight game.

The Lions host a Hurricanes side who beat the Sharks in Durban last week. The Canes, who are 3.5 point favourites have named a strong side and will take all the beating.

Nothing less than a bonus point win will do for the Stormers when they host the Sunwolves and that is reflected in the handicap betting which sees the visitors given a 23.5 point start.

The final action in the penultimate round of the regular season sees Jagaures host the Sharks. The Argentine side are closing in on top spot in the SA Conference after a run of 7 wins in their last 8 outings whilst the Sharks play off hopes hang in the balance. The Sharks have a 6.5 point start on the handicap and plenty to find on the form book after losing 51-17 to Jaguares in Durban earlier in the tournament.
