BettingDiaryThere are plenty of sports betting options available to punters this weekend and we take a closer look in our Betting Diary.

FOOTBALL

The FA Cup 4th round takes place this weekend and there are a couple of tasty looking fixtures including Southampton v Tottenham on Saturday. The Saints are 7/4 for the win, the draw 5/2 and Tottenham are edging favouritism at 15/10.

We haven’t been impressed with Spurs of late and think Southampton may just book their spot in the next round.

There are also 4 PSL matches taking place over Saturday and Sunday and Kaizer Chiefs will be looking to extend their advantage at the top of the table when they face Arrows on the road and they are 8/10 for the win with the draw at 26/10 looking a big runner.

The bet which stands out for us on the card is Stellenbosch to beat an out-of-sorts Polokwane City at 9/10.

RUGBY

The Kings and Cheetahs are back in action this weekend in a Pro 14 game in Port Elizabeth where the home team are 3/1 underdogs and the handicap is set at Cheetahs (-9.5). Neither side has been in a very impressive form of late and we expect the Cheetahs to edge a close one.

HORSE RACING

Local horse racing takes place at Turffontein and Kenilworth on Saturday with a 9 race card at Turffontein starting at 12:45 and finishing at 17:25.

There are some firm favourites running in the Pick Six and it is one of those days where it could pay big if some of them get rolled. Horse No. 1, Approach Control looks like being a popular banker in the 2nd last leg and it is currently trading at 11/20.

Kenilworth is an 8 race card starting at 13:00 and the final leg of the Pick Six is due off at 17:10.

Our best bet for the day is Phil S Dancer, Horse No. 1 in the 7th Race currently priced at 11/10.
