Napoli v Liverpool – Click here to bet

Napoli are undefeated after 5 League matches in their domestic season and they are coming off a 2-1 away win over Lazio on the weekend. They have only played 2 League matches at home taking 4 points from a possible 6.

Liverpool have got off to a shaky start in the English Premier League although they are undefeated in their last 3. They played to a goalless draw at Everton on the weekend and were coming off home wins over Newcastle and Bournemouth.

These sides last met in the Champions League in 2019/20 when Napoli won their home leg 2-0 and the sides drew 1-1 at Anfield.

I am not convinced by this Liverpool side at the moment and think Napoli can get something out of this.

Suggested Bet: Napoli +0.5 goals on the handicap at 17/20

Atletico Madrid v Porto – Click here to bet

Atletico Madrid have taken 7 points from a possible 12 in the League to start their season. They are coming off an away draw at Real Sociedad and their only home game this season was a 2-0 defeat by Villarreal.

Porto have won 4 and lost 1 of their opening 5 League matches and that loss came in their penultimate start on the road when they went down to Rio Ave 3-1, a result that could have been backed at 9/1.

These sides met in the Champions League 2021/2022 season with this fixture finishing goalless and Atletico Madrid getting a 3-1 away win at Porto.

I think this is going to be tighter and the betting suggests it is going to be low scoring. I think the value here is in backing the draw.

Suggested Bet: The draw at 5/2

Inter Milan v Bayern Munich – Click here to bet

Both of these sides will be looking to get off to a good start as they also have Barcelona in the group.

Inter have been a mixed bag in the League winning 3 and losing 2 of their opening 5 matches. Goals have flowed and over 2.5 goal backers would have collected in each game. Bayern Munich are yet to taste defeat in the League, but after winning their opening 3 games have drawn their last 2.

It is no surprise to see over 2.5 goals trading at 5/10 in this game as Bayern Munich are always amongst the goals in Europe and Inter’s recent matches suggest we are going to get goals at both ends. I am not a 5/10 punter so will go for the extra goal and back over 3.5 goals at just over even money

Suggested Bet: Over 3.5 goals at 12/10

Tottenham v Marseille – Click here to bet

Tottenham remain undefeated in the English Premier League and they beat Fulham 2-1 at home last time out. Their other home matches were a 1-0 victory over Wolves and a 4-1 defeat of Southampton so they have taken 9 points from a possible 9 in front of their own fans.

Marseille have won 5 and drawn 1 of their opening 6 League games where last time out they beat Auxerre 2-0 on the road and they have yet to concede in their last 3 League matches.

I think Tottenham are going to be too strong for Marseille and I am going to back them to win by more than a goal.

Suggested Bet: Handicap, Tottenham -1.5 at 13/10
