They return to home turf where they have won both matches so far, starting with a 7 wicket victory over RCB who they bowled out for just 70 runs in Match 1. In their other home fixture CSK posted 175/5 (MS Dhoni 75) against Rajasthan Royals and they held on to win by 8 runs after a fantastic final over from Dwayne Bravo.

Kings XI Punjab

Kings XI also have 3 wins and 1 defeat against their name. Most recently they pulled off a dramatic 14 run victory at home to Delhi Capitals who collapsed in losing their last 7 wickets for just 8 runs. Sam Curran was a hat trick hero for KXP, returning outstanding figures of 4/11 in 2.2 overs.

Earlier the Kings XI won their opening game away to Rajasthan Royals by 14 runs. They couldn’t follow up in Kolkata as they came up 28 runs short of the Knight Riders 218/4 but they bounced back with an 8 wicket home win over Mumbai Indians in their third outing.
