England v New Zealand, Brisbane
With 3 of 5 matches for each team now complete New Zealand top the group with 5 points followed by England, Ireland and Australia with 3 whilst Afghanistan and Sri Lanka both have 2 points,
England's clash with Australia last Friday was washed out. They started their tournament with a 5 wicket win over Afghanistan in Perth. Sam Curran took 5 wickets for just 10 runs as Afghan were all out for 112 and Livingstone was 29 not out as England got home in 18.1 overs.
England were then overwhelming favourites for their game against Ireland but they lost by 5 runs (DLS). Ireland posted 157 all out in 19.2 overs and at 105/5 in 14.3 overs England were just behind on DLS when the rain came.

NZ started with an 89 run win over Australia before their clash with Afghanistan also fell victim to the weather. Another net run rate boosting victory over Sri Lanka at the weekend puts them in pole position in the group with this game and a clash with Ireland to come.

The Verdict
On results so far England look way too short but the expectation among the market makers is that they will be on a going day here.
I will go with Malan as top England bat and Williamson in the equivalent market for NZ
