We are down to the last 4 teams and the winner of this match will take on whoever comes out on top in Wednesday's semi final between New Zealand and Pakistan
India v England, Adelaide Oval
India topped Group 2 of the Super 12's with a record of 4 wins and 1 defeat to finish 2 points clear of Pakistan and 3 better off than South Africa. They started with back to back wins over Pakistan in Melbourne (4 wickets) and the Netherlands (56 runs) in Sydney before they came unstuck against the Proteas in Perth where they went down by 5 wickets. A 5 run (DLS) win over Bangladesh at this venue followed by a 71 run victory over Zimbabwe in Melbourne sees them arrive in the semi finals in good shape.
This is how India lined up last time out:
KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma (c), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant (wk), Axar Patel, Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep Singh
England cut things fine in a tight S12 group, finishing behind NZ but ahead of Australia on net run rate after all 3 teams ended with a record of 3 wins, 1 defeat and 1 no result.
They started their tournament with a 5 wicket win over Afghanistan in Perth and despite being overwhelming favourites for their game against Ireland they lost by 5 runs (DLS). Their clash with Australia was washed out leaving no margin for error in their remaining matches which delivered
a 20 run victory over New Zealand in Brisbane and a 4 wicket win over Sri Lanka in Sydney.
This was how England lined up last time out.
Alex Hales, Jos Buttler (c & wk), Dawid Malan, Ben Stokes, Harry Brook, Liam Livingstone, Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, Chris Woakes, Adil Rashid, Mark Wood
Head to Head
The teams have met 22 times in this format with India winning 12 and England have won 10.
A 3 match series staged in England in July this year finished 2-1 in India's favour.
The Betting
India are currently trading at around 17/20 to win the game and England can be backed at around even money
KL Rahul and Kohli are both 26/10 to top score for India and Buttler is 3/1 to top score for England

The Verdict
This is England's first visit of the tournament to Adelaide whilst India's clash with Bangladesh here saw Kohli and KL Rahul star in a bat first total of 184 (subsequently revised after rain) and Yadav has been in top form with the bat as well.
I'm leaning towards India although as the match result betting suggests it's a close call between 2 powerful sides. Perhaps an all rounder can make a difference and hopefully Hardik Pandya arrives in the Man of the Match market.
