Joburg Super Kings
The Super Kings registered their first win at the fifth time of asking when they beat Pretoria Capitals by 6 wickets at this venue at the weekend. The Capitals posted 167/9 batting first (Williams 3/26) and despite losing both openers cheaply JSK chased it down in 18 overs with Donovan Ferreira unbeaten on 56.
Aside from the win over the Capitals JSK's only other points came from a washed out game away to the Sunrisers in what would have been their opening match.
Since then they lost to MI Cape Town by 98 runs at The Wanderers and they went down by 37 runs to the Super Giants in Durban.
When JSK met The Royals in Paarl they went down by 7 wickets. Batting first JSK were all out for 134 with Leus du Plooy making 71 but 18 was the second highest score. Paarl needed just 14.1 overs to wrap up a bonus point win with Jos Buttler smashing a quick fire 70.
This was how the Super Kings lined up last time out.
Reeza Hendricks, Faf du Plessis (c), Leus du Plooy, Moeen Ali, Sibonelo Makhanya, Donovan Ferreira (wk), David Wiese, Romario Shepherd, Lizaad Williams, Nandre Burger, Imran Tahir
Did not play: Wayne Madsen, Aaron Phangiso, Dayyaan Galiem, Zahir Khan, Kyle Simmonds, Sam Cook, Gerald Coetzee, Ronan Hermann

At the time of writing Paarl Royals topped the standings with 4 wins and 1 defeat.
They have just completed a double header against MI Cape Town, losing the first meeting by 8 wickets at Newlands before bouncing back with a 59 run victory in Paarl on Sunday. The Royals posted 162/3 batting first (Roy 69, Buttler 54) and Bjorn Fortuin returned figures of 3/15 as MI Cape Town were bowled out for just 103.
The Royals began their tournament with two matches against the Pretoria Capitals winning by 27 runs and 10 runs at Centurion where Miller posted scores of 41 and 75.

The Verdict
If JSK are to continue their revival then Reeza Hendricks will be a key man and I like his chances of hitting a six.
Additional interest comes in the shape of the Royals Lungi Ngidi to take 2 or more wickets
Bets: Player Sixes Reeza Hendricks over 0.5 at 19/20 with Sportingbet
Player Wickets Lungi Ngidi over 1.5 at 11/10 with Sportingbet
