nzodiThe third and final ODI between New Zealand and Bangladesh takes place in Dunedin as Tuesday night turns into Wednesday morning and the Black Caps are overwhelming favourites to complete a 3-0 series clean sweep.

New Zealand were 8 wicket winners in the first game at Napier with Martin Guptill starring with an unbeaten 117 and the New Zealand opener was at it again in Christchurch at the weekend. The victory margin in the second match was also 8 wickets after the Black Caps bowled out Bangladesh for 226 in 49.4 overs and then chased it down with just under 14 overs to spare. Guptill made another century, this time 118 in just 88 balls and Kane Williamson (65) and Ross Taylor (21) were there at the finish.

This was how the teams lined up in Christchurch at the weekend, note skipper Kane Williamson will be rested for this game ahead of a 3 match test series to follow.

Verdict:

In the form Guptill is in he could well go in again as Man of the Match but I will take a chance on Colin Munro to top score for the hosts as he has plenty to prove with World Cup squad places at stake.

Likewise Tim Southee could use a big show with the ball and he ought to get his chance here with the series already in the bag.
