rcb2019Match 14 in the IPL sees Rajasthan Royals host the Royal Challengers Bangalore in Jaipur on Tuesday and both sides are still looking for a first win of the tournament.

Rajasthan Royals

The Royals have lost all 3 of their matches so far although they would argue that 2 of those games should have ended in victory. In their third outing the Royals came up 8 runs short of the Super Kings bat first total of 175/5 in Chennai on Sunday. After losing their first 3 wickets with just 14 runs on the board Ben Stokes (46 off 26) and Jofra Archer (24 off 11) had the Royals in a winning position but Stokes fell off the first ball of the final over and the Royals hopes of a first win went with him.

Earlier the Royals lost out in another chase of 185 for victory against Kings XI, their only home game so far, when they came up 14 runs short after looking on course for victory. In Match 8 they went down by 5 wickets away to the Sunrisers.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

RCB have had a nightmare start with 3 defeats, 2 of which were very heavy. On Sunday they were dismissed for 113 away to the Sunrisers who had piled on 231/2 in their innings and in their opening game they were bowled out for 70 at Chennai and the Super Kings won by 7 wickets. In between those defeats they were involved in a thriller at home to Mumbai Indians whose death bowling thwarted AB de Villiers victory charge and RCB went down by 6 runs.

Head to Head

Matches 18, Rajasthan wins 9, RCB wins 8 plus 1 no result.

Last season the Royals won by 19 runs in Bangalore and they completed the double with a 30 run victory in Jaipur.

Betting Angle

It seems that neither side can be backed with any confidence right now even though they have some big guns, especially in the batting department. RCB have had 2 disastrous innings in 3 matches but could click at any time whilst the Royals have made runs and with batting rather than bowling the strength of both teams, we look for a highest individual score of 69 runs or more.

Bet: Highest Individual Score, over 68.5 runs at 17/20
