The third and final T20 international between South Africa and England takes place at Newlands on Tuesday, England have already wrapped up a series win and a short price to complete a clean sweep.
England came into the series as the form team in this format and they justified the favourites tag in the first 2 matches with a 5 wicket win at Newlands last Friday and a 4 wicket victory at Paarl on Sunday.
England successfully chased on both occasion's, first overhauling the Proteas total of 179/6 (Faf du Plessis 58) in Cape Town. Jonny Bairstow's unbeaten 86 in that game got England home and that remains the highest individual score of the series so far. England also hit more 6's and 4's than the Proteas to go 1-0 up.
On Sunday conditions for batting in Paarl were much more difficult and South Africa posted 146/6with no batsman scoring more than 30 runs. England fell behind the asking rate in the chase but Dawid Malan's 55 off 40 balls put them back on track and they got home with 1 ball to spare. England also came out on top in the boundary count's and they now go in search of a clean sweep before we head into the ODI's at the weekend
