After two convincing victories in their opening matches of the ICC Cricket World Cup South Africa are huge favourites to extend their unbeaten record when they take on the Netherlands in Dharamsala on Tuesday.
South Africa
The Proteas are in a good space after 2 comfortable wins. They began their tournament against Sri Lanka and they came out on top by all of 102 runs after posting a mammoth total of 428/5 (Quinton de Kock (100), van der Dussen (108) and Markram 106 off just 54 balls)
Last time out they took on Australia and despite starting as underdogs South Africa won by 134 runs. Quinton de Kock was in the runs again, tops coring with 109 in a bat first total of 311 and Markram contributed another 56.
Australia lost 3 wickets in their first 10 overs and were eventually bowled out for177 in the 41st over. Rabada was top wicket taker with 3/33 from 8 overs and Ngidi the most economical with his 8 overs costing just 18 runs and he took a wicket. Jansen, Maharaj and Shamsi all struck twice.

Netherlands
The Nether lands have lost both their matches so far. They started with a 81 run defeat to Pakistan where Bas de Leede took 4 wickets and top scored with 67 but a chase of 287 for victory came up well short.
In their second outing the Netherlands went down to New Zealand by 99 runs. NZ posted 322/7 and Colin Ackermann top scored with 69 as the Dutch were bowled out for 223 in the 47th over.

Head to Head
Overall the teams have met 7 times with South Africa winning 6 and there has been 1 no result.
The Netherlands were in South Africa for a 2 match series in March / April this year and the Proteas won both games by margins of 8 wickets and then 146 runs.
The Betting
South Africa are currently trading at around 1/20 to win the game and the Netherlands can be backed at around 10/1
Quinton de Kock is the favourites to top score for South Africa at 28/10 and Bavuma is 33/10

The Verdict
It should be straight forward for a buoyant Proteas side and I will look to the top bat markets for a betting interest.
Whilst de Kock is in blistering form Bavuma could use a big knock and he gets a tentative vote. For the Netherlands Colin Ackermann will be extra keen to shine against the Proteas.
