The third ODI between Sri Lanka and South Africa takes place in Colombo on Tuesday and after the Proteas squared things up at the weekend they are now favourites to claim a series win.
All the matches on this tour will be staged at the R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo and after Sri Lanka won the series opener by 14 runs the Proteas hit back with a 67 run victory (DLS) on Saturday to make this game a decider.
Saturday's match was reduced to 47 overs per side, the Proteas won the toss, opted to bat and Janneman Malan top scored with 121 of their total of 283/6. Sri Lanka lost their first 3 wickets with just 19 runs on the board, Asalanka then made 77 but the innings folded tamely, 197 all out in 36.4 overs. Shamsi was the stand out bowler with 5 wickets and Malan was named Man of the Match.
The first match of the series was staged on Thursday and Sri Lanka won it by 14 runs, posting a total of 300/9 with opening bat Avishka Fernando top scoring with 118. The top 4 in the Proteas batting line up all made runs with Markram top scoring with 96 but the chase lost momentum and the innings closed on 286/6. Avishka Fernando's ton earned the Man of the Match award.
This was how the teams lined up on Sunday when the Proteas were without Bavuma.

Sri Lanka are currently trading at around 12/10 to win the game and South Africa can be backed at around 13/20.
In the highest first 15 over total market Sri Lanka are 11/10 and South Africa are 8/11 and the Proteas are 21/20 to hit the most sixes.

The Verdict
After a convincing win on Saturday the Proteas might now have the measure of a Sri Lanka side who have found wins hard to come by in this format.
For a betting interest I like South Africa to hit the most 6's in the match and a more speculative call is made on Reeza Hendricks, who made 51 on Saturday, to score another half century.
Bets: South Africa to hit the most 6's at 21/20
To Score a Half Century, Reeza Hendricks? (yes) at 11/4
